Welcome. Nice looking rifle. Mr. Stoner got it right. M14’s and M1A’s can sometimes be like a high maintanence girl friend. Demanding and you got to pay a lot of attention to them, but when they perform, they are enjoyable as hell. Find my AR10’s just as enjoyable, but a lot less demanding. -

Issue that guy a muzzle loader. In the Civl War, in the stress of combat, soldiers would sometimes load their musket, neglect to put a percussion cap on, think they were firing it, and ram another minie ball down the barrel. Post battle, salvagers would sometimes find muskets with minie balls all the length of the barrel.
