  1. Can’t speak for anything but 308, but my AR10 B models actually are very easy on brass. I don’t load close to SAAMI max, and that probably has a bit to do with it. So far I have some M80 generic brass on their 4th reload and still looking good. Like 98 said, the pressure endemic to the cartridge probably has more to do with brass life then the platform, unless you have built a custom brass shredder rather then a larger caliber AR.
  2. I know I will end up paying for it, but I had to use the “L” word at least once in my life. Now back to regularly scheduled programing for you Pacific Northwesters.
  3. That’s what you get for looking so authoritative and loquacious in your pictures.
  4. You came to the right place. I am a shooter, not a builder, but 98Z, Matt Cross, JT Allen, Wash Guy, DNP 396, and a whole bunch of the regulars are all skilled, experienced builders and will not steer you wrong. Wife has family in Sandpoint and Post Falls. She was born in Moscow.
  5. Count me in. PM sent.
  6. A couple of the AMU custom rifles taken from their Facebook Page
  7. Those are good prices! 98 will buy up the Grendels! Great price on a Nikon Monarch4x16 BDC as well
  8. Welcome!
  9. 98 and Pat, thanks, if I ever need to now I know what to do.
  10. My 20” Armalite AR10 1 in 11.25” twist likes 42 gr RL15 behind 175 Sierra Match Kings. Also 43.1 gr RL15 behind the 168 gr SMK’s. Both those loads are sub MOA in that rifle and my AR10T 1 in 10” twist. For the sake of commonality I have set those loads as my standards
  11. Welcome! The archives are a treasure trove of information, not to mention some good jokes.
  12. Nice looking rig!
  13. The interviews I have seen, that Bfoosh linked in in other threads, PSA wants to become a major player in the manufacturing end, and they are saying all the right things. All it takes though, is one continuing sore spot like this, and their reputation will end up in the schitter. Talk is cheap. From all appearances if they fixed that, they would have an interesting product. Might have a problem of an iron clad contract with the recoil system supplier that they can’t get out of, in return for a dirt cheap price. If that is the case, they are hosed, and so is their reputation. Well, stock up on the Armalite Recoil system. They appreciate the business.
  14. Think about it, they are related. They have to know by now about this recurring issue, yet customer service doesn’t take steps to correct it for the affected customers, and PSA hasn’t made necessary changes in their PA10 rifles. One problem has caused both to continue; a failure of company leadership. And that is the real problem at this juncture.
  15. PSA must hate this forum. You think they would rectify the problem.
  16. Like Doc says, early bushmasters were built for them by Rock River Arms to their pattern. If it takes FN FAL magazines, it is one of those. Otherwise it is a DPMS standard pattern.
  17. That chart is gold.
  18. What they said.👍
  19. Welcome and: “Tanks for the memories”
  20. Quite a number of Somalis were recruited out of Minneapolis to join Isis. They are not easy to interact with. Have some good friends who are now retired teachers and some had a lot of difficulty with them in their classes. While another had fairly positive experiences, to be honest. Not a warm open people and don’t do a lot to endear themselves to the community.

Guests will do that to you. But it seems he can shoot, so we can tolerate him.
