Welcome to the talking side of things. Like some of the Brothers inferred above, she doesn’t need to go on a diet. She just needs a shorter, lighter, handier sister for when you go out in the field. One is never enough.
There’s two experts giving you thumb’s up. For two hundred yards that is nice shooting. This picture is my AR 10 standard rifle at 185 yards with less than ideal conditions. I was shooting M118LR’s from Lake City. I think you will hit 1000 yards easy. My 10T loves the 175 SMK but I will be moving to the Berger 185’s on my next reloading cycle.
Thanks Pat. I had heard on another forum the AMU experimented with AR10’s in 260 Remington, but had undisclosed issues. Don’t know if that is teuthor just hearsay. Wish I had bought one of the AR10 NM’s. Had a forum member that sold one a few years ago. I am happy with my AR10T carbine and will never sell it. I got it when Surgeon closed out all their “B” discontinued models through CDNN.
Pat , do you know if the Army ever rebarreled some for the 260 Remington? I read that someplace years ago.
Also, they had good success with the AR10 if I remember correctly.
Taken a few deer with12 guage slugs. Without a doubt the most definitive kills I have ever witnessed. Like hitting a gnat with a sledgehammer comes to mind.
I remember that, but I heard they weren't satisfied with their foray into 260 Remington with AR10’s. I would really like to see more on that. Even sent the AMU Facebook page a message to that effect.
Well, maybe not as bad ass as we thought. Thing might have been playing with him.

Only reason to stockpile 250 double 00 buck is 1. you like to destroy stuff. Or; 2. You are the armorer and ordnance supply officer for a POW camp. Or ; 3. You really do believe the Apocalyse is around the corner, and mistakenly believe it will guarantee your survival.
