  1. I have only heard good things about them in general, but can't recall anyone talking specifically about their lowers.
  2. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/lower-receivers/psa-ar15-lower.html

  9. Florida's got all that except its flat as a plate.
  10. Why do men die first? This is a question that has gone unanswered for centuries, but, now we know. It requires a bit of explanation. If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race, you're a male chauvinist. If you stay home and do the housework, you're a pansy. If you work too hard, there's never any time for her. ... If you don't work enough, you're a good-for-nothing bum. If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, this is exploitation. If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay, you should get off your lazy behind and find something better. If you get a promotion ahead of her, that is favouritism. If she gets a job ahead of you, its equal opportunity. If you mention how nice she looks, its sexual harassment. If you keep quiet, its male indifference. If you cry, you're a wimp. If you don't, you're an insensitive bastard. If you make a decision without consulting her, you're a chauvinist. If she makes a decision without consulting you, she's a liberated woman. If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy, that's domination. If SHE asks you, it's a favour. If you appreciate the female form and sexy underwear, you're a pervert. If you don't, you're gay. If you like a woman to shave her legs and keep in shape, you're sexist. If you don't, you're unromantic. If you try to keep yourself in shape, you're vain. If you don't, you're a slob. If you buy her flowers, you're after something. If you don't, you're not thoughtful. If you're proud of your achievements, you're full of yourself. If you don't, you're not ambitious. If she has a headache, she's tired. If you have a headache, you don't love her anymore. If you want it too often, you're oversexed. If you don't, there must be someone else. Why do men die first? Because they FUCKING want to!
  11. Mid 70s here, sorry...
  12. Yeah, I put a nice synthetic grease on it. I'll take the gas block off and try some more then :)
  13. I just backed it off some and retightened 5 or 6 times. took it off entirely only once.
  14. For sure. Where in central FL are you? I'm on the edge of Tampa + Wesley Chapel
  15. So last night I went to install my barrel nut, the custom one that came with the MRF rails from Troy. The problem I ran into was that torqued to 30lbs the "points" on the nut where the wrench connects blocked the gas tube hole on the receiver on the left side, and raising the torque to 50 only made it worse, closer to the right side but just past center. In the end after going back and forth a bunch, I left it torqued to 30 and was just able to get the gas tube through. Is that ok/normal?

    Brew for you

I had the shiner bohemian black lager last night, was pretty good
  17. Cool deal. I picked up that exact handguard too, going on a 20" rainier select setup
  18. sweet set of choices on that
  19. oh man that's funny. reminds me of when I was a kid, visiting Space Farms in NJ. They had the bear Goliath there 12 feet tall, 2000lbs. He was in a pretty big cage but it looked small for him. Anything would :D. The worst part was that if you were walking towards the cage by a particular path, it was blocked by trees till you turned the last corner, maybe 20-30 feet from the cage. The first time I went there as I turned the corner he was on that side, facing me, standing up, with his front paws on the bars and I just about poop myself because it sure looked like he could rip the cage apart.
  20. I like the idea of the .45acp, out of everything in the "other" calibers that's what I personally would build. great for suppressing, and with the right loads its reasonably safe for home defense use too.
  21. bourbon for me as well, I lean towards Woodford Reserve as my favorite
  22. Will do! probably won't be till late april that the lower comes in though
  23. I had grilled pork chops and yuca
  24. I found this http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/forends-handguards/ar-15-308ar-carbon-feather-handguards-prod54649.aspx actually in stock at brownells, but carbon fiber, no rail this isn't in stock http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/forends-handguards/308-ar-handguards-prod54838.aspx but is a tube that you can mount rails on troy makes a 15" for ar-15s, but not for 308s
  25. I'd volunteer for that, but my weapon knowledge is more mid level
