haha...thanks, bro. I thought I was it. Every single time someone comments about that movie it seems it's bashed. I have seen it about 4 times. Every time it's on cable I can't seem to change the channel.

^^^Murdoch has his hands in too much and further reducing the competition is bad no matter how it's spun. I rarely watch little more than the weather with my local news. I consider most of it to be fairly redundant and too much entertainment "news" has seeped into regular news. I prefer the Internet too.

I watched Riddick last night. There were mixed reviews by people when it was all said and done. I think you sort of know what your getting when you pay for a movie like this though. I enjoyed the movie. I thought it was better than Pitch Black and I might be one of the few that actually enjoyed The Chronicles of Riddick. I would say Riddick did a good job bridging the gap between the two types of films as they were a bit different from one another. The acting was typical and the one liners fit the movie and weren't too cheesy. The CGI was good but not great. I think the low lighting helped the look a lot.

I just saw that in the theater last night. A little blast from the past. I enjoyed the first two but the third was a disaster. I look forward to checking this reboot out.

Good points. I'm of a similar mindset and rarely flip on the stupid box for my news. Most have their own agenda nowadays. My problem is not with it originating in the Middle East. I've spent some enjoyable time visiting (or deployed) in certain countries in the Middle East. I've caught a lot of very unflattering information through the years regarding the owners of Al Jazeer. That's not to say media moguls like Murdoch and Bloomberg deserve consideration for sainthood either, the Qatar family just seems to always be synonymous with oil, gas, and terrorism.
