  7. Welcome from AZ !
  8. Vera needs anti -pins in her when she gets rebuilt ! Those pins have walked far enough to move the hammer or trigger out of the hole !
  9. I haven't used CFE223 for 308 but there are two member who have extensive posts on that powder in the reloading section. As a general statement ; if you keep the COAL between 2.795" thru 2.805" and use less than max loads there should be no excessive pressures or loading problems. The steel and plastic mags should except all of those cartridges.

  11. I have some ProMag 20 rd mags that are designed for Springfield XD. Need to stick it in a Sig ... Just to find out .
  12. Shibi your Sig 40s&w mag fits in my XD40 , but it is too long about a 1/4" gap at the base. So just a drill hole to modify the mag for the bolt catch and it would work.
  13. Welcome from AZ !
  14. I think the answer he wants to hear is .... 168gr BTHP . The 180 gr soft points run like $h!T through my 308s ! The 150gr FMJ w/CANN work great as a plinker round.
  15. Fixed a couple of these by getting DPMS parts{ o-ring, extractor spring , pin}. Quick fix pull out o-ring and see if it shoots. You will need dental pick, tiny flat screwdriver, tiny bent needle nose pliers a couple of small punches ...And 3 hands. ! Might want to order parts first , spring may dissapear !
  16. Pull the BCG out and take two pictures , front and side. Are the extractor marks , deep ? Did you use more than one magazine ? A.] MagPul. Plastic B.] DPMS. Metal--- are there lines on the brass?
  17. Hmmmm ! Have you guys noticed a pattern. It appears a lot of problems occur when someone buys ONE JP part and not the whole upgrade kit, their gun doesn't work ! I came on this thread too late to comment on the buffer spring. Oh well.
  18. Vet and neighbor are both dickheads ! Both stuborn cracky @ssholes pissed at everthing and just hate each other. Glendale PD ,possibly the worst PD in the valley has a standing policy to arrest someone to deescalate each situation on all calls for violance { either domestic or neighbors}. They did wait to get a court order so we can't blame them for doing nothing ! We don't know the whole story. Its not done by any means , until one party moves.
  19. OH Snap ! F*cking Classic ,those boys are going to get so much $h!t for that ! I'm sitting in the waiting room laughing. So not cool.
  20. [,quote name=survivalshop" post="142357" timestamp="1428065863] LC Once fired Machine-gun brass is all I use any more & I don't have a problem with them . I use the same Sizer Die the OP is using. I don't use my SB RCBS die much any more ( very old ), unless I have a case that was sized before with a SB sizer die, because of case length after sizing , they are always shorter than " Trim to Length" spec , when sized with a FL Sizer Die. His main problem was a problem being able to properly set the Sizing Die ( case Head spacing, shoulder set back ) OP said he used different types of brass. The rifle Head Spaced OK , so the chamber is to spec's & shouldn't matter what brass is used as long as it is loaded correctly , to spec's . As was said, the tight extraction should go away with fired round count increase .
  21. Primed 492 cases of 40S&W today. Nothing special. Need to buy some projo's.
  22. SS the OP said some of the brass was LC MACHINE GUN RANGE BRASS ! That is most of the problem. He did not state he ever used new factory brass. The gun does need to be broken in , given ! Just sizing MG brass can be a PITA somethimes , if the base is swollen{like Glock pistol brass}and is not fully shaped to the proper profile. This is the chambering problem. The OP should buy a box of some good factory ammo to break in his gun. I try to not use reloads when breaking a new gun in.
  23. No that was just a brain fart ! He busted a couple blood vessels in his head. Head butting the keyboard at his desk. LOL !
  24. 98 are you getting checks or free parts from manufactures to monitor our site and make their products look good ? Hmmm !
