A lot of police departments have a policy of : arresting one party to cool off a situation. Let's say you are arrested and you give a statement. It can and will be used against you. Whatever is writen on that note pad will be transfer to a report the next day. Memory may have changed , facts ommitted. Your words have just been used against you. It is now in print and a bias DA trying to make a name for himself sees an easy case just ruined your life.
Do you have a come back for that !
Loose firing pin retaing pin is a non issue. You can buy a different one whenever.
Take a part your lower and push the hammer and trigger pins and when you reassemble the fire control assembly make absolutly sure the spring are install CORRECT.
I fixed ar lr308 yesterday that was FTF ing. Cock it fired then nothing. So I notice the trigger spring is not installed in the proper position. Took the fire control group out and reinstalled it , fixed.
So just check it. Stranger things have happened.
Almost forgot. Get a LEE Factory Crimp Die for each caliber that you load which is used in mag fed weapons. This will make a world of difference. They go for $10 to $25 dollars each depending our where you buy them. Remember nobody wants their stuff pushed back ! Causes Ftf , jambs ,stovepipes. Squibs

I've used most of the ones I listed for the WSM rounds I load. And I am getting a little over 100 rounds per pound of powder. I would guess that 80 to 90 rounds per pound would be it..
I had some 300 wsm rounds with 74gr of H4350 that HURT ! And left a Limbsaver brand on my shoulder.
You will have to step up to the big boy powders like:
H4350 , H4831 , H1000 , win supreme 760 ,Imr 7828 & Retumbo.
Light bullets H414 & Win 760.
They are using 70 to 100 grains per round.
