  1. Shoot, I love that trigger but after being on this forum for a while now, and listening to everyone talk about Geiselle, I just picked up a DMR. Still fine tuning it, I put the other trigger on my ar15
  2. Yep, I've had mine for a couple seasons now and really like. Course it's my first and only ar in .308 so I m not speaking with much to compare to, but it's a shooter especially with handloads. I've changed the stock, trigger, buffer and added a bipod.
  3. Good for you man. Keep your head up and move on.
  4. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Can't pass this up. I'm never going to get that scope I've been saving for.
  5. Good to know. I kind of went by the 180 five star reviews the bag got. It's treated me good so far, and for a range bag I'm confident it will hold up.
  6. I use one of these for the range. I can take a couple Ar's, ammo and cleaning kit, also room for handguns. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007IWJ63A/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  7. I think the only way a magazine would effect accuracy would be from a purely psychological perspective. If you have a mag that doesn't feed reliably then you might be thinking about that while you are shooting and it could effect your shot. On the other hand if your running a mag that has never failed you then you are shooting with confidence.
  8. Yeah I ran mine this past weekend, worked real nice.
  9. Looks like they are running a similar deal now. Limit 1 per customer, $115
  10. Frickin awesome! <laughs>
  11. I bought a DPMS Lite hunter in .308 and I take it every where, miles and miles after elk and antelope. The only mods I have made... Changed out A2 stock for a Magpul MOE A2 rifle stock. It might even be heavier but I like the cheek weld. I put a Harris bipod on it. Just put a Geissele DMR in, yet to shoot, but the two stage that came with shot great. Mine has an 18" barrel and a Mikulec brake. Some of the newer ones have a 20" barrel and no brake.
  12. That is a pricey BCG. Have you heard anything good or bad about the Liberty Gun Works bolt, internet rumors say it's made by Cason? What did you think of the Cobra Tactical barrel you got, I was thinking pretty hard about their 16" Hbar in x39. I'd be real surprised if it shoots as accurate as they claim, but I just want to shoot cheap stuff anyway.
  13. I 've been thinking of building a x39 upper and I'm interested to hear if you got your MGI bolt running reliably or if you are using a different one?
  14. Ok, so just file a little off. Did you coat it with anything?
  15. Yep, or throw it on a shotgun.
  16. Update- The trigger is actually catching on the trigger guard. First stage works fine, then as the second stage begins the bottom of the trigger runs into the trigger guard.
  17. I finally got some time to swap out my trigger with the DMR and I'm having an issue. I couldn't get the hammer to release. So I reinstalled it, checked again to make sure the trigger was clearing the safety, installed the hammer, cocked it and pulled on the trigger, nothing. I checked that it wasn't getting hung up on the front of the lower and I can see some daylight there so that's good. Finally I just kept squeezing the trigger and it finally functioned. Did it again and it functioned, however I'm applying WAY more pull than needed for this trigger. What am I missing guys?
  18. This... Good luck and have a blast! :auto:
  19. 50 shots before reloading! Dammit there's no way I could own one here in Colorado. ::)
  20. Look what came in the mail today....
  21. Nice group, looks like that load has real potential
  22. I looked at a PM400 today looks like a serious shooter! What bullets were you slinging?
  23. Still waiting on the triggers to arrive, should be here on Monday. I wanted to get in some more shooting with my current trigger before the Geissele gets here. I posted a couple pics under one of the the other threads, show us your targets, I think it was, of a quick shoot yesterday before the weather turned. Man it's been snowing since last night! Hopefully it will leave as fast as it came and I can get some more shooting in.
  24. Nice setup! I might have to try it out on some LC brass.
  25. Got out and shot for about 20 minutes before it dumped rain. First pic is 100 yard target before the rain. Second pic is 200 yard target during the downpour. Ill have to try these again since the conditions sucked, but they look promising and its always fun to get out and shoot!
