This is a very serious JOKE: A doctor from France says: “In France, the medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man's testicles; we put them into another man, and in 6 weeks he is looking for work." A German doctor comments quietly: "That's nothing, in Germany we take part of the brain out of a person; we put it into another person head, and in 4 weeks he is looking for work." A Russian doctor says boasting: "That's nothing either. In Russia we take out half of the heart from a person; we put it into another person's chest, and in 2 weeks he is looking for work." The U.S. doctor laughs and answers loudly immediately: "That's nothing my colleagues, you are way behind us....in the USA , about 7 years ago, we grabbed a person from Kenya with no brains, no heart, and no balls....we made him President of the United States, and now....... the whole damn country is looking for work."

......Tolerance..... Ahh, tolerance! It's a two-way street! Something we could learn from our brothers to the north in Canada! Jiggs McDonald, NHL Hall of Fame broadcaster speaking in Ontario, says: "I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against another mosque being built in Toronto. I think it should be the goal of every Canadian to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs. Thus the mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance." "That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque; thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque. We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, "The Turban Cowboy," and the other, a topless bar, would be called "You Mecca Me Hot." "Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called "Iraq of Ribs." "Across the street there could be a lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret," with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods, and on the other side a liquor store called "Morehammered." "All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us." Yes, we should promote tolerance, and you can do your part by passing this on. And if you are not laughing or smiling at this point, it’s either past your bedtime, or it’s midnight at the oasis and time to put your camel out.

I used to work part-time for a farm supply company in Oklahoma and would pick up Butler buildings at Galesburg. They had a heck of a good loading crew. I would back a flatbed semi trailer down in a loading dock and a guy with a remote control connected to a over head crane would go all over the building picking up building parts and load them on the flatbed. I would haul the building to a farm and the farm supply crew would erect the building. I never saw one time when we failed to have every part, beam, siding, door or bolt we needed.

Difficult manual extraction of military cartridges
mrmackc replied to Mongoose333777's topic in Building a .308AR
My opinion of your problem of extracting a unfired handloaded military caused round is the thicker case round is caused by the crimped bullet being jammed into the rifling. You need to get a chamber cast made and start using a small case reloading die. -
The 2016 superbowl game..... Well I suspect that before the first regular sesson game all teams will have no losses but after the first game half of the teams will be 1-0 and the other half will have 0-1. and the Raiders will fit in there somewhere.

It was almost like a John Wayne movie where the ageing Duke was wounded but persevered and saved the girl and her paint mare from Lee Marvin and his trained black panther during an apache uprising.

No, since I have been retired for 19 years, I still have memberships in some of the stuff I worked with, just like to remind myself from time about some of the tiny little things that make up the universe. shooting and hunting are my life long activities. Recoil must be a newer magazine, one that I had not seen back when I checked out the magazine rack at our local Hastings book store. Now I get most of my reading material from Amazone and other electronic media.

Recoiled.com. very interesting albeit new to me. Several really interesting articles. I have only seen two or three of the John Walsh .36 cal cap and ball 12 shooters. Thanks for your posting it. I think Dickhead has some neurons stripped off. Best check those meds guy. There should be several good walkin clinics in Redding. I never buy magazines off the rack anymore. American Rifleman Guns and Ammo and a couple of quantum physics and nuclear physics society monthlys are it. I do most of my reading on my Kindle Fire tablet.

It was a dark and windy night here Wed. Night and early Thursday morning. Storm hit around 0300 2.5 inches of rain added to the five inches we had the day before , high winds we lost a large 18" cedar elm tree it split into several pieces about 10 ' up. Luckily it didn't fall on a building. or fence. Both rivers are in flood stage and a couple of county roads are closed Every one is safe and dry in our beds tonight.

Put me and my wife on the list as old folks. Maybe we could meet up at a resort type lodge. Nothing too fancy where we can do a little cooking, smoking, and make some sammitches. Maybe even trapse off for a range day.

Storms made it through Comanche County between 4 and 5 AM. Thunder, some wind, and a lot of rain. Beautiful sunshine morning!

Well it is starting out to being interesting, Can't really see the point of bragging about getting banned from a forum, but different strokes for different folks. -
We have been doing Okay out here in the boonies. Got between 4.5 inches and up to 6 inches in the neighborhood. We are praying for the safety and wellbeing of the folks down around Houston. Country folks just don't go when we don't need to, and we never need to drive off into wild running water. Our lake has come up about 4' in the last three days.
