  1. Thanks Doc, very Cool Magwa. Stand up guys!!!
  2. My pup got into something and he was messed up yesterday. Bought him to the Vet and they had him on IV and an anti-vomiting drug. Got him home but he's off a little bit. I'd rate him at 60-70% himself. Called the Vet and was told to wait until morning. If he's not better to bring him in. He's a stand up renegade Jack Russel mix from Tennessee. He holds his own in this house. He is well mannered and fun seeking, but if you try to tease him, or touch his face the wrong way he puts on his snarly face and growls. Anyway he's my bud and it's breaking my heart to see him this way. I think I'm like most of us here, we survived long enough to become gentlemen, and like my dog, only get wild when pushed the wrong way. When love shows it's face in the form of a dog I find it irresistible. If only he could tell me exactly what's what. He may have a blockage. He got into those bully sticks and had a party. He puked on the way into then vet and took a good dump. I hope there's no blockage and it'll pass. Long time from now until morning. The second picture is what you get when you offer him a command like " SIT" yeah up yours.
  3. OK, not sure what you mean. I would bid on the ruler knife. Not knowing what's happening and not meaning too muck around, I'll bid $50 to start it off. What's the good cause? Is it confidential? I'm willing to help any of our folks here.
  4. Lots of envy going on here. Beautiful place to shoot and entertainment for the price of cat dinner. Best to you and them.
  5. I bought the ebay mentioned above in 223 and 308. Nice and strong, perhaps the Geissele is much better and fit for a master gunsmith but four my few barrels just simply terrific.
  6. Double trouble! Nice rescue job brother. I know of a cat, not mentioning names here I suspect the f'ker can read. Let's call him the sheriff for anonymity sakes. Well he's one of the nicest cats around. He's among that group of cats that are so terrific that we came up with the term " Cool Cats." Well this cool cat is called Sheriff because he likes to take down his perceived criminals. His self promoted territory is the bed. He keeps his patrol area tight and orderly. If all is under the covers everything is copasetic. If Mr. Foot becomes uncovered, he sees perp and becomes Wyatt Earp and the OK Corral is on! Good Luck with your buddies.
  7. If I read the thread correctly, and it's possible I haven't. It's been said some guns like a particular load, and will operate just swell. When I read you wanted to feed it anything and have it work well, that's the challenge presented, and got the men thinking about a solution. If you want to go hunting today, you have a round that works, correct? Use that. Once again if I remember correctly, you have some of the best materials in the world on this rifle. LaRue, JP, et al. Do the thing you want to do today, but for the love of Mary, get that rifle using up all, and any ammo as it well should. BTW you're almost there. Don't quit before it's done. As an aside, and a nod to our brothers and sisters here, as well as a token of friendship and welcome to you, we don't care if it costs you a quarter million to get this thing done, we're with you.
  8. @DNP Hope you get the heat straightened out quickly. Conditions can get dangerous. Why isn't there any heat?
  9. Turkey coma day. My Thanksgiving Day family turkey baker did it again. One of the best tasting, tender and moist turkeys to date. Thanks Jenn. I'm a drumstick guy, always have been, ever since I was a youngster. Nobody I know can make a decent gravy though, it's always overly saturated with fat. It tastes good at first and when it begins to cool off, yuck!!! Any Chef's here, or good gravy makers?
  10. ooo ooo ooo Sarge? Yes Tuddy? ooo ooo Sarge is it G&G for 37.99? Yes Tuddy.
  11. That's it, storage, yeah storage. Thanks for the early morning smile, and tips.
  12. Just went to add more, it's caked up and dry in the bottle. It's 12 years old, when I read pout four capfuls in the media I knew it's no good. It's a paste.
  13. I think I put Cabela's metallic cartridge cleaner in about a year ago. Sorry not meaning to eff around, you just made me think and it really has been a year
  14. Radioactive, I hope you get this settled soon. I am following this thread for similar challenges on one of mine, well my nephew's rifle. Thanks for posting.
  15. I'm tumbling some 223 for an hour so far and the brass doesn't seem to bright and shiny. I believe I'm using corn cob media at the present. My current status is a guy who has owned reloading gear for 5 or more years and the stuff is still in the packaging. In other words I bought the gear and never used it. What should I expect from tumbling? How do I know it's done? Thanks.

Welcome tea. You've been given good advice already and they'll be plenty more if the questions are presented. I like a bit of recoil, it reminds me that I'm controlling lightning.
  17. BTW, my favorite is the cranberry relish my sister in law makes. Fresh cranberries and oranges ground together, is all it takes. Mmm
  18. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families. I am thankful for all of the blessings we have. I am thankful for the Alka Seltzer I'm gonna need in a few hours, and my living room couch I'm going to be in tomorrow all day, digesting all the goodies the family has put together.
  19. I had my antennae up in July, bought a few. Thanks @jtallen83
  20. Got to love those Mercury dimes, one of my favorites.
  21. Welcome from Florida.
  22. Damn, this is a good thread. Thanks
  23. I did a Pew Pew read. 2 Moa up to 200. High regard for item especially at the cost. Did 400 yds claimed misses on himself, but still accurate enough for what it is. I put one in the basket waiting for 2 hours then probably the go ahead. Thanks @98Z5V
  24. http://news.primaryarms.com/q/jA2zgtFru7a0XiItqrt_w6PWSzVL76jb9ZCZcOJcmVkcml2ZXJpaUBhb2wuY29tw4ghcHDSVOxdbvLfgMdvln7ktoDExg For this price it seems a terrific deal.
  25. Original OP, $700 is out of the question.
