  4. Damn, I am one short, so I suppose I am just a deplorable owner, not a super owner.
  5. My Faxon 1:10 .308 barrel loves the 168 and 175 grain projectiles.
  6. I will look tonight when I change out the trigger.

What are you guys squawking about? The Steelers are 2-0!
  9. Buttstock was tight against the shoulder both times but I am only conscious of holding the trigger back on the second attempt when it only fired once. I could have released immediately on the first one.
  10. For this hunting season I built a 6.5 Grendel to use when humping the hills and brush of South Texas chasing the wily deer. When siting in the Grendel, and testing the build at the same time, the first trigger pull resulted in a triple fire, yes, three shots fired with one trigger pull. The good news is that the three shots bracketed the target (1.5" group at 50 yards), but I don't need full auto for hunting. I tried again to see if the scope was OK at 100 yards and held the trigger back and it only fired once, but failed to eject. The trigger is an AGL (which I will be replacing with a Geissele G2S that was delivered over the weekend) but which has worked in other builds. The spring and buffer are standard and came with the 6 stop tube, completed with a Magpul MOE stock. It is a mil spec upper on an 80% polymer lower using a mil spec lower parts kit (except for the trigger). The gas is mid length on an 18" barrel with a lightweight low profile block. The BCG was very wet, soaked in Mobile 1 for a week before heading out. It may simply be associated with the fact that it hasn't been fired and needs to be broken in, but any suggestions of a testing protocol are appreciated.
  11. Minnesota is making it easier for the Allah Cult to kill us by limiting the ability of ordinary citizens to carry. Typical new world order globalists.
  12. Islam is the problem, and the enemy. I know I am deplorable but I am a civil engineer. I can't fix stupid but I can fix whats stupid does. In this case with my trusty AR308.
  13. I was referring to Sketch's new logo!
  14. I think it is a future prediction of the globalists and the citizens. The globalists have the fur, the citizens are unarmed.
  15. Hell, since we (at least some of us) are deplorables we might as well become expendables.
  16. I have a couple of these for both the .556 and .762 builds. They are very nice.
  17. I ordered a G2S from PSA for $109 over the weekend. It hasn't shipped as yet but some small parts I ordered a couple of days earlier are now on the way. I did see a Rise 140 (3.5 lb single stage drop in), very similar to the Mech Armor Rugged Justice, on sale for $99. I have two of the Rise triggers and so far I like them.
  18. There is virtually no chance of avoiding a civil war. The problem is that the militaary will likely be split, leaving us open to foreign intervention.
  19. Howdy from the Texas side of the border(s). The AR308 is a great platform for almost anything.
  20. The problem is, even if we have superior missiles and systems, the enemy needs to believe that we have the will to use them. If you are an enemy, do you really believe that Obama, or Hitlery will respond to an attack or do you believe they will want to negotiate? If it is the latter there is no deterrent because perception is the only reality.
  21. Not so surprising. Putin is a nationalist, not a globalist, and has a strong enough military to resist globalization. He is an obvious target for regime change in order to allow globalism to proceed, which is what the Clinton's and Bush's and Soros' are really looking for, with them in charge.
  22. I kept looks for Obama's red line but didn't see it!
