  1. I mistreat mine very much then, as my work knife gets used to cut bindweed off of my sod mulcher......that is a dulling experience for knives.
  2. That is probably due to my lack of reading instructions........? Not my first time and not my last......
  3. I have used stones, the Lansky system, steels, and a few others during my life; nothing works as good for me as the Worksharp. My only complaint it that I seem to lose my point on the blade, but that is minor considering I can put an edge on that takes no time, and it the same every time when the operator it paying attention. Pocket knives, kitchen knives, hunting blades....they all go through and come out better than I can produce other ways.
  4. .....no milk.....ya know when that sugar rush ends!!!
  5. Sh!t and I thought fruit loops with mellow yello for breakfast was bad....
  6. Pretty hard to fit myself and those in the cab of my maintainer.......
  7. Well Shepp, you are correct , I wished I walked and was that active....as I do push 285-295 regularly. All that I do is sit and operate joysticks for at least 8 hours a day. All I have to do is sit in the air conditioned cab and try not to eat......along with being hungry when all the food is gone. Some days it is alright, no gut nawing at kybrain, and others there isn't enough room in the cab for what my gut says it wants. Equipment operating is a killer on the body, no activity, no muscle movement.
  8. If this would have been a white male.......the sun would have exploded on earth....... But a protected minority....... well just have your coffee and bagels, my aren't they good sir?? ? and now move along, nothing to see here.
  9. They are all I run. I have no use for an adjustable....too much movement and too short for me.
  10. Until a modification is necessary.....
  11. How I roll.....with my FUR!
  12. Which length gas system are you running on yours?
  13. that MBA1 stock is about as light as you can go, with out going to a Carbine style collapsible. It's also alo cheaper cuz you do not have to spring for the whole buffer tube assembly system.
  14. Butter Face. No worries, do everything "but her face"........
  15. That is what a badger did once, just before my front tire of the motor grader ran it over......that was FUN!!!!
  16. Unbelievably NICE! And that is meant for the machining work AND you.
  17. PSA it is THEN. My son's upper is a PSA midlength 16" and works flawless when the rest of the rifles' lower is done correctly. I had a few baubles early on with function due to incorrect lower parts........if one is smart enough to fix those, it runs flawless. Thanks for the votes of confidence, as the price difference means alot.
  18. Guys, I am having a hard time deciding between getting a PSA or a Del-Ton 20" Government kit to assemble. My dilemma is this: my Dissy has a Del-Ton upper that functions flawlessly, but PSA has been getting great reviews lately on their products and the price difference is quite a bit for the same kit ingredients.....$510 Del-Ton vs $380 PSA. What would your call be if you were me?
  19. Just wrap it up, without the screws in it, with some ACE wrap and duct tape. That should give you the flexibility without work hardening...... emoji's don't work for me anymore, so just imagine a smart-ass face here........
  20. Yeah, sorry, I should change the title to this thread. Retrieved my mind and put threaded things on the end of my barrel. Actually went with MFT'S E2ARMD-1-1 and found it to be fairly effective at recoil and totally effective at irritating those next to me!!!! BONUS!!!!! http://www.missionfirsttactical.com/Products/MuzzleDevices/E2ARMD1 I am a cheap bastard, and this one werx Fer me!
  21. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/06/23/vinnie-paul-drummer-for-metal-band-pantera-dies-at-age-54.html Vinnie Paul from Pantera and Hellyeah has died, and at this time no info on cause. I really liked his style of percussion and wish his family well at this time. I am wondering if he ever got over his brothers killing, and this was the end result.........
  22. Still sweet looking! I am a sucker for the Star Wars blasters getting made up.
  23. Perfection occurring in one piece with all the mechanics worked out in tandem with said perfection.....now I get it :headslap: :I get it smiley: :SMARTASS: Heehee!!!!
  24. Soooo, is that how someone figured out how to reduce the recoil impulse from an over gassed system???
  25. As long as we are sharing some dry humor... https://youtu.be/RAGcDi0DRtU
