  1. ...or at least you were supposed to ask permission first to be a safety office, then fire your pistol in classrooms while "safety training"
  2. Hell, I thought schools were free of guns zones.........
  3. And for all of you special guys here.....
  4. On a jeep I saw today.
  5. Robo, check out these guys. I heard a song of theirs on Pandora and really liked it.....just haven't had the time to get deeper into the rest of their stuff. http://hogjawmusic.com/
  6. And here to heap a bit more confusion on this, YES it will run given the correct buffer spring/buffer is used with the 308AR. I have an APF manufactured (DPMS style) 16" barrel (rifle length gas system) that worked flawlessly utilizing a carbine buffer system, but changed to a rifle length ONLY because I prefer a fixed stock. The main difference was mine was put together by the manufacturer, and they had done their homework. It just ran, and ran.....when fed correct spec ammunition. As far as the info previously given, it is spot on, just confusing when you are a newbie....no crap intended to the OP. I made mine run intermittently with just a change in the buffer weight, when trying to diagnose function problems that were not fully understood, nor firearm related, and chased my tail for a bit.....quite needlessly.
  7. I do resemble those remarks. I generally figure I can test out most anything, and if it survives.....it is GTG! Even a .25 million dollar Caterpillar 140M3 is not safe from my "testing"......I have been finding problems for 2.5 years with mine that just shouldn't happen.....and all I do is normal daily work with it. Just plain seem to find breaking points of most things, nothing more.
  8. Title says it all. Magazines, and AR parts are what I am mostly asking about Do they Measure up to Magpul reliability?
  9. I could screw up the sandpit first, then get to work on the anvil.....guaranteed.
  10. I love the assault bat hanging behind them!
  11. I would move farther south also, weather is starting to piss me off up here.
  12. North Dakota is reasonably easy for jobs, reasonable costs, just sucks for weather right now.
  13. ^^^^^^^^^^^I hope that isn't in commiefornia!!! There are all sorts of bad on that assaulting weapon he made!!! ....unregistered, bay lug, bay mounted, large capacity smaller magazine......the list goes on and on.... Seriously awesome!
  14. I haven't been a PSA customer previously, but they will be my first choice hereafter.
  15. Send it to me, I can scratch it. I can Fook up anything......
  16. Speaking English is apparently killing our country also.......
  17. Now I will be thinking of Marvin Gaye whenever that song comes on my rotation..... They did a good job on it though!
  18. PPPPPFFFFFtttttfuck..........history sucks in so many ways.
  19. My mother is 80, and has been trained to answer her phone immediately, no matter who she is talking to....taking quiet a while to wean that out....
  20. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/01/georgia-teacher-who-fired-gun-in-classroom-previously-told-police-hired-hitmen-report-says.html Goofball dipshyt that was passed over for getting put away earlier....
  21. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/teacher-in-custody-at-school_us_5a96ea0ce4b09c872bb0b648 And right on cue from the crazy side...... A deep look inside this nutcase will more than likely show he shouldn't have been a teacher anymore, or hard leftwing tendencies.
  22. This looks a lot like the LCR I have, grip/frame/"hammer" area...on the Ruger factory pics of my model....actual gun in hand has a rounded hump area where hammer resides. Mine no longer has the factory rubber grips on it, but I went with a set of Pachmeyer G10's. These made all the difference in feel in my hand, and the little 5 shot absolutely loves my 180gr 357 Mag loads. I know these are completely different frame styles and there isn't any relevance to my changing out my grips completely, but the feel in the hand is most important. Yours is what is important, and if it works, that is all that matters. Mine likes to roll in the hand a bit, much like a single action revolver with a plow handle, but that is part of what I like about how it shoots. It also has the best trigger in a double action that I have felt, even compared to my smithed up Model 19 I used to have. That had a wonder trigger, commented on by others who knew good revolver triggers, and my LCR compares very favorably in every way in my mind. The trigger is even better than my Wiley Clapp GP100....and I liked that one.
  23. The push button just looks like the ruger push button, slightly revamped, to me. No biggie there....for me. For me, fit is much when shooting small revolvers, either they do or they don't work well...not much in between.
