I'm with ya SS. A 168grain GMM should stop anything in North America. I'm confident with my little 16" barreled HBAR LR308 out to 400 yards. I can't see me hunting at longer ranges than that. At my age seeing past 400 yards is a damn challenge any way.

I own an Oracle also. I still have the original glacier guard on mine. IMHO put money in the trigger first. For a 16" HBAR barrel mine is one damn accurate rifle. And do as Mike stated, run it wet. I broke mine in with Mobil1 10-30 full synthetic. Not one issue with it since. I love taking it to the range and all the AR15 guys heads all pop up when they hear, BOOM, BOOM BOOM, instead of pew, pew pew.
