  1. I've never seen anything like it before. Way cool if you ask me.
  2. Welcome aboard Jerry. Nice looking build! I run my DPMS with nothing but Mobil1 10-30w full synthetic (thanks wash!). During the painfully slow break in process the BCG was soaking wet. Not one issue with it. Looking forward to your range report. And don't fret if you have an issue tomorrow. These guys on this board know the 308AR like the back of their hands.
  3. Thanks shepp, hopefully he'll receive an email about the PM. Shane
  4. Like I said Jerry mines a factory DPMS built rifle. I have had no issues at all with it.
  5. Here is my box stock LR-308.
  6. On my box stock DPMS LR-308 mine is that not far into where the notch is. Let me snap a pic of it for you.
  7. jrt I still want the stock. I hope all is OK as you haven't logged in since Jan. 23.
  8. The Polish one might only have reverse. And they use it while screaming "Run away, run away." (In my best Monty Python voice)
  9. The T72 hand grenade guy had some balls to do that. Didn't it take him three tries to get it in the gun tube? How the hell the TC let him get that close is beyond me. And WTF was the gunner doing the whole time? Back to the Polish tank. Who fires this thing, the driver? And how do you go from a conventional round to a missile being an auto loader. I remember my loader trying to get a Sheleighly missile into the gun tube of a Sheridan. A four foot missile in a 6 foot turret was asinine. Track maintenance on that Polish tank would be a bitch period.
  10. Dang I forgot all about the Polish part.
  11. Blue's not the only Tanker in here. I'm confused by the "unmanned" turret comment. It only has 16 rounds in the ready racks. And it has a rate of fire of ten rounds a minute with the auto loader. The doesn't equal a lot of firing time in the heat of a tank battle. It is an impressive looking piece of armor.
  12. Another warm welcome from North Carolina Steve.
  13. BigEd welcome to the mad house. Please see exhibit A ^^^^!
  14. Great article. Definitely a good read. Thanks for posting it.
  15. The wheels had to have gotten wet!
  16. I believe the stock is milspec Blue.
  17. Nice stock! I'd buy it but I don't believe it will fit my DPMS buffer tube. #bangshead
  18. I hope they had to wire his jaw shut from the bat cracking it. Kudos to the home owners!

Is it me, or does that stock scream 'tack driver"? 260 SHIPPED? IMHO you stole it.
  20. No sh!t, my sides ache after the last volley.
  21. I picked up the Perfecta 150 grain FMJ, for $12.40 a box this weekend at Wallyworld.

And the derail usually happens in about 3 posts into a thread, on most forums. At least this one made it to about six posts in. And I'll admit it, I'm guilty of plenty of thread hijacks myself. lol
  24. And another warm welcome from North Carolina.
