hate to say it, but you might be better off looking for specs for the original bcgs and having a machinist custom make one. would be costly but you might not have any other option. otherwise finding another old ar10 that has a bcg in it, even if the rest of the rifle doesn't work.

I would say Palmetto Armory is a good deal once you get the bugs worked out, but I do think you can build a better ar15 for under $800 and 308ar under $1000 exactly the way you want them if you find the sales. veterans day, memorial day, black Friday, and a few other times seem to be there perfect time to find deals. I even saw an aero m5e1 builders kit with full 15 inch mlok on sale for $275 on black Friday last year. and that was not blemished.

I got to get me a new squirrel gun. my inlaws are indian givers and today they took the .22 they gave me, saying they only let me borrow it. this is the second time they have pulled this crap. when I got the .22 it looked like it was 6 ft under since WWI. luckily the action and barrel was stainless, so after hours and hours of cleaning with solvent and taking it down to the smallest springs, I was able to get it looking beautiful with only a few marks that hinted at the thing being rust pitted at one point. I even bought it a bipod and a scope and I have had it for 3 years. yet now they decided they were loaning it to me. I gave them an earful and told them I was never working on one of their guns ever again, they can pay a gun smith. then a mile down the road they get a flat tire. karma's a b1tch.

I have no problem if adults want to kill them selves on all these drugs. the problem is every time we hit a house where there are drugs, there end up being traces of the drugs in children that live I those houses. you have young kids, toddlers, and babies that end up with meth, heroin, and other stuff in their systems because of the users around them. Some people say drugs is a victimless crime. not true, children are often the victims.

not gonna mention it to a supervisor, it isn't something my agency trains. they don't like choke holds and armbars. we always just call it a "dynamic application of a trained technique." one of the deputies told me he had a nice bruise on his upper arm from the times he acted up and I had to torque it, just creating that much pressure on his upper arm. lol. big guy too. over 6'3 and well over 250, maybe even over 300. if EMS and a deputy wasn't on scene trying to hold him down, he probably would of gotten several good strikes too.
