  1. yeah but when you start shooting from age 5, not much you can do to change that. lol. I can shoot with my lefty because it is required, but not very well. sadly my father never knew what was "wrong" with me when I was younger and was trying to lean my head all the way over a rifle stock to use my left eye. it wasn't until I started bowhunting at 10 years of age that I realized I was left eye dominant and had been trying to use my wrong eye for so long.
  2. this might actually really help me a lot because I am left eye dominant but right handed.
  3. ok, so I can "show" anything, and as long as I don't ask about it I don't have to buy. it's like a loop hole in the rule. :P
  4. I'm working on a plan with Han Solo right now to get them over here. he thinks he can make the trip in 3 parsecs if the Hitlery empire doesn't catch him.
  5. doesn't one of the rules fall into play here so the rest of us can know how well it works? lol
  6. i don't think those type of lefties would know how to work it sadly, goes against their liberal gun hating ways.
  7. http://f-1firearms.com/bdr-10-3g-matched-receiver-set/ what's the point of even having a dust cover if you have holes everywhere? yeah, I like more sleek designs with few angles... stuff that is easy to clean. the one thing I always hated in the military was trying to get the dirt out of the nooks and crannies.
  8. so now wash can put kak all over him wherever he wants
  9. is any part of our addiction cheap?
  10. I think it could work. I would have to approve of it first being the brother in law, but I am easily bought with guns. :P
  11. good point, I never thought about the quality of marlin today since my 30-30 is older than me. lol.
  12. well shepp, she's got one other daughter that is 17. lol. guess you could wait a year. lol. thanks everyone for your responses, sorry I am just getting back to you. been a busy weekend and I have come down with a pretty bad cold so the couch and bed is where I stay when I am home.
  13. doesn't matter the size of the brass burns, they hurt like a bitch no matter what. I had a .40 go in between my eye protection and my eye a few months ago. I couldn't get it out, finally did and finished my qualifications. but my eye ended up getting swollen shut.
  14. lol. shepp, I am gonna have to send my mother in law to you to pick out a gun since I am up here. haha. :P
  15. this rule would effect me a lot more if I had the money to purchase things in the first place. :( cant wait for the holidays to be over, they use up so much money, especially when you have little children. my wife and I are going to be buying a house within 8 months and I told her I am using some of the money from the loan to buy some guns. haha.
  16. yeah, problem is I am not near them, so just trying to do as much research as possible. revolvers don't have to worry about ejecting rounds into a person's face, but if it isn't left handed it is difficult to reload for a lefty I hear. so probably looking more towards a semi-auto with ambi mag release and slide stop. I'm thinking a simple striker fired pistol with no safety.
  17. yeah I think the xdm and fns9 are both better choices than glock, but like it was said, it wasn't even offered to the marsoc boys. again, pretty sure it all had to do with money, power, and politics. robo, isn't that the pistols that blade used to kill vampires? lol.
  18. I'm not a lefty but my mother in law is and she was asking if I would find her a good concealed carry pistol that would work for her. the only truly lefty pistols I found were a charter arms revolver and a 1911 that was way way beyond her price range. so lefties out there that have an opinion or people that know lefties? just looking for something that would work best for her, whether that be a lefty gun or ambidextrous gun.
  19. not to mention I haven't seen a place with better prices than Aero... can anyone think of any?
  20. "I'll still take the easier manual of arms, higher round count, less parts to break, durable plastic over nostalgia." you just described 80% of pistols out there today. lol. plenty of other choices than glocks Sig P320!!!!!! the round count is the only reason I would choose the glock over a 1911... but I'm about making my rounds count and doing in-battery reloads to top off the rounds in your gun once you have the chance anyways. lets face it, the choice of what gun to use came down to power, money, and politics like every other decision that happens in government. I doubt they really showed up to a range with a dozen types of pistols that would work for their mission and let the MARSOC guys try them all out and let them all choose, because I doubt the majority would of liked the glock. I gotta call BS on that Jon! I don't know what you deem as necessary on a 'combat ready' 1911 but by my standards of a combat ready 1911 I can build one in the range of $1000-$1200 that I would trust my life on in any conditions! It's just not that expensive to build a really dependable 1911. Bill Wilson, Ed Brown, Les Baer, you're paying an extra $1000 or more just for the privilege of having their name on the slide, plain and simple! It's a status thing that I don't buy into. hmmmm... should I build a 1911 over buying one?
  21. Rodgers does need to get his act together, he has been playing like crap! as for the buffer being to small, it has never gotten a bad review before.
  22. you're slings look amazing! any chance of getting some stronger buckles though? I'm rough on my gear and I have had a lot of plastic buckles break on plate carriers, ruck sacks, slings, and belts (the latter might be partially from weight gain.)
  23. all it needs is just a little bit of lubricant, not much needed at all.
  24. it runs flawlessly, never have had a malfunction ;)
