  1. Yeah the waiting sucks but not as much as not being able to order and wait for one.
  2. That might explain why I didn't like the eary gen Glocks( how I was gripping them).Which was also about the time I started shooting pistols. Now I own two!
  3. ☝️
  4. Tom will be disappointed, it'll take all the challange and sport out of the pants down hug...
  5. It's almost like the news is about pushing a narrative rather then a source of facts to allow adults to make informed decisions.
  6. That's sad news,it's bad enough when decent retailers close up shop but more so when a good manufacture does.
  7. or You take a guess which is his father...
  8. Seems you have your streaming services confused... Netflix is an American company, it's Pornhub that's Canadian.
  9. Don't forget about the part in Canadians helping in the drafting of the Geneva Convention 😲 WW1 was a major part in what help to define Canada as a country and not a British colony. This was known as the Battle of Vimy Ridge where Canadians succeded after the British and French failed I was blessed in that I had the opportunity to vist the sight and see the memorial at Vimy Ridge when I lived in Europe. I also had the opportunity to see other historical battle sites but this will always stand out in my mind. The link below is a picture of the monument which doesn't convey how impressive it is. You can toggle the boxes to get an idea of the 20 sculputres that where all carved in place. https://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembrance/memorials/overseas/first-world-war/france/vimy/experience-vimy
  10. It's for the headlights but not the intensity. It's to adjust the head lights as you load up the vehicle to stop the lights from blinding oncoming cars when you're heavy in the back end. From the manual- The following load conditions should be used as a guide. Position ’0’: Driver only, or driver and all front seats occupied (loadspace empty). Position ’1’: All seats occupied (loadspace empty). Position ’2’: All seats occupied by adults and loadspace loaded to maximum rear axle weight. Position ’3’: Driver only with the loadspace loaded to maximum rear axle weight.
  11. It's a cult favorite up here being about hockey and all. The crime is that Netflicks will show it in the US but not in Canada.
  12. This would have been handy in the Raptor for the last trip down and back.
  13. That is an epic mustache
  14. So I found this switch, located in the centre dash console area. Any guesses? In the end I had to googgle and look at the owner's manual. It would have come in handy on the Fall trip down and back home when Roman,Mike and mysef made the trip.
  15. I couldn't belive the milage till I saw it in person, seats have no wear. Even then I had the Rover shop go over it but more to make sure that things like seals, gaskets hadn't rotted or failed. Also wanted the brke lines checked, rubber hoses etc. Plus getting it up on the hoist to look at the underside. Of course, how I justified buying it was it gets almost twice the fuel milage my gas powered LR Discovery gets. The secret to justifying these type of costs is to use the same economic logic the government uses when spending taxpayer money
  16. More pics So the details 2006 Land Rover Defender 90, believe it or not it's classed as the station wagon model because of the seat configuration. 5 cyl turbo diesel, 5 speed hi/lo trandsfer case and locking diff. Started life in Bulgaria, hence the licence plate. Imported into Canada just over a year ago. All with the exception of the tires( brand new) just like it left the factory. Now for the amazing bit... drumroll........ That gentleman is the milage in kilometers so to translate that is just a hair over 31,068 miles. I had a full inspection done by Land Rover specialist to confirm milage and condition.
  17. So sucumbing to pressure from the environmentalist I bought a green vehicle.
  18. Not on Netflix Canada which I'm pretty sure should be a crime
  19. Obviously an amateur as a pro would use matching screwdrivers. You can see the left side has been running a bit hotter.
  20. Got to admit if someone said they were going to do their M1 in blue, I'd be skeptical but damn that darker blue with black combo is is a sexy rifle.
  21. That blue one would go nicely in a scabbard mounted on Tom's Jeep...
  22. It's not just the fingers that knife is close to...
