  1. I am so looking forward to coming down again. It wasn't till I saw the picture afterwards that I realized I caught both muzzel flashes... so times being lucky trumps being good.

  7. Sometimes the animal doesn't wait for you to get a shot off.
  8. The buck might have tried a different approach if he had used doe scent... mind you I don't think that experience would have been any less pleasent
  9. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-59913513 Here's a bit more detail about the attack and what happened to the pirates.
  10. It will be more than just you two getting fukked... One thing that doesn't seem to get much discussion is the tax revenue generated by gas and oil. The taxes paid at the pump go towards to more than roads, the largest and most common diversions, found in 20 states, are those to transit and active transportation (pedestrian and bicycle projects).Ten states divert a portion of their gas tax revenue to law enforcement and safety services. The 10 states diverting the largest percentage of their gas tax money: New York diverts 37.5% of its gas tax revenue, Rhode Island diverts 37.1%, New Jersey and Michigan divert 33.9%, Maryland diverts 32.5%, Connecticut diverts 27%, Texas diverts 24%, Massachusetts diverts 23.9%, Florida diverts 13.6% and Vermont diverts 13.2%. So where is government going to make up the lost revenue?
  11. What a great family picture While @DayWalker may leave the house dressed in such a way to embarras his wife in public... we don't care 'cause the guns are colour coordinated and fashionable
  12. At least they don't crawl into the engine bay after to park the truck
  13. What's that saying? to the man with a new hammer everything is a nail. I always like hearing from someone living downtown and working in an office how public transit works for them so obviously it's the solution for everone else. Here in BC our electricity comes from dams or so people believe and that's the party line the government and utility push. The truth is that at night BC Hydro closes/reduces the taps to the turbines and buys cheap electricity from Alberta next door.Because 87% of electrical generation there comes from coal and natural gas the plants end up producing excess power at non peak times. So BC Hydro buys this power at below cost seeing as Alberta rather get something and offset the loss.
  14. On the plus side you weren't lying when you told her it was a foot...
  15. Work supplied cordless tools are Milwaukee, home stuff is DeWalt. These days Milwaukee seems to have the largest number cordless options. Now f you're invested into one brand with batteries and chargers, companies are now starting to offer battery adapters allowing you to use one brand battery on other brand cordless tool. Be careful in that depending on the tool's battery compartment as the adapter add height to tool.
  16. Looks very promising
  17. Yeah even the beaches up here don't have that much sand. Lots of them are more pebble/rock than sand. That's good news. I always felt that first aid courses, supplies and AED should at a minimum be tax deductable
  18. Friend's company looking at these which are basically electric 'gennys'
  19. Rural, I suspect even suburben areas will have an issue as public transit tends to favor downtown cores. Mind you the people coming up with this crap are people that will not be using public transit but government provided chauffer/vehical. A couple years ago there was a public meeting involving executive that BC Transit system. One gentleman got to the microphone and his question to the panel was" by a show of hands how many of you took public transit to this meeting?" Not one hand when up. So 300 people in a city of 651,600 have expressed an interest but and only 73 cars turned in... not steller numbers. Also you have people who probably live in the downtown core with easy convienient public transit, live close to were they work chances are the car wasnt being used much thus not having a huge impact on reducing automotive created pollution.
  20. I don't want to be the one that says it but it seems( unlike what people say) yes one can ask as stupid question. 😲 Glad to see you did the right thing
  21. Welcome from BC
