  1. Just remember that when you are moving is when you are reloading. Shouldn't be standing still when you are reloading except when the stage calls for it.
  2. Could be the problem. It the pieces were not letting the extractor travel the proper distance. M80 ball should be good to go.
  3. Over 90 degrees w/65%+ humidity. Expected over 100 by end of the week. Woke up to no power this afternoon. Took over 3 hours to get the power back on.
  4. The Mass laws were on the books in the 70's when i was at Ft Devens. Possession of a handgun without a ton of paperwork was an automatic year in jail. Good to see someone is finally fighting back.
  5. Did you open the gas block all the way up to start? Did you only load one round in the mag and see if it will lock back on an empty mag? I would get it running with factory ball ammo before trying my handloads.
  6. And if you read the Federalist papers. It lays out the thought process and reasons why they framed the constitution the way they did.
  7. We will even throw in Kamalla for boot.
  8. Cool camping spot.
  9. Shooting Barnes 220gr bthp match ammo.

    300 Win Mag

Guess I should start a thread on this rifle. Bererga B-14 HMR in 300 Win Mag. Built in chassis in the stock. It takes Remington 700 pattern parts. Witt machine muzzle brake. It does a pretty good job. Arken scope 6-25X50 FFP 34mm. Almost sighted in. Top pic. 96yds aiming at the 7 . Using a sleeping bag for a rest of the hood of my jeep. Second pic. Cold bore shot was low. Aiming at the red dot. Moved the cross hairs after the group. Still a touch high but getting there.
  11. It goes boom. Scope scooted on me a bit. Guess I didn't have it all tightened down. Still waiting on the muzzle brake. Just shooting off the hood of my jeep using a sleeping bag for a rest. Should do better off a table w/bags. 96 yds. Very decent factory trigger.
  12. The rifle is a little over 10lb. The scope is just over 2lb. Not counting base, rings, and bipod. A beast is an accurate description. The steel muzzle brake will add a bit more weight when it arrives Monday. I do like the looks of the entire package.
  13. You are soooo mean.
  14. Got the scope mounted. Probably need to find shorter rings . Muzzle brake won't be here till Monday.
  15. Right hand. Nice rifle. Waiting for the scope to get here today so I can go out back and brake it in.
  16. Scope should be here tomorrow. Lone Wolf McQuade has been talking up these scopes. There is a long thread over on snipers hide about them. I hope they are as good or better than the Athlon scopes I have. Just waiting on the scope and the muzzle brake.
  17. What's the saying. Just because it's a bad idea doesn't mean it won't be a good time.
  18. Yep 300 winmag Supposed to take Remington 700 pattern parts. Probably a Timney trigger in its future too. Ordered 100 rounds of this to start. https://www.barnesbullets.com/product/precision-match/?attribute_pa_cartridge=300-win-mag&attribute_pa_bullet-weight-gr=220&attribute_pa_bullet-type=match-burner-otm-bt This should be a fun project.
  19. No sure what tread pattern the barrel is but I'm going to need a muzzle brake. Suggestions?
  20. Been ordering stuff today so maybe I can shoot the mile target. https://www.bergara.online/us/rifles/b14/hmr-rifle/ Arken Optics SH4 GEN2 6-24X50 Rifle Scope FFP VPR Illuminated Reticle with Zero Stop 34mm Tube WEAVER Extended Multi Slot Base Remington 700 LA 20 MOA Monstrum Precision Scope Rings with Integrated Level Bubble 34 mm We will see.
