Belt Fed

This "used" to be a small town I live close to, then the white flight from the big city happened and "BOOM" it's way overcrowded now. I won't get into the piss poor city management of letting a city grow without proper roads built but anyway, the small shops they flourished from all the newcomers. K Mart was the only game in town and they were doing well, then Wal mart decided to build a huge store here. the small shops and kmart died. Then they decided to build a neighborhood market up the road and boom, all the small grocery stores in the area died. Now we have 5. yes 5 dollar general stores in this one city. those places are like a plague, they are going up everywhere and in places you wouldn't think a store could make it.

The Phone Call I received a phone call from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend who this morning called “out of the blue” to see if I was still around. We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic times we used to enjoy together. I couldn’t believe it when she asked if I'd be interested in meeting up and rekindling a little bit of that “old magic.” “Wow!” I was flabbergasted. “I don’t know if I could keep pace with you now”, I said , “I’m a little older and greyer and balder than when you last saw me. Plus I don’t really have the energy I used to have.” She just giggled and said she was sure I would “rise to the challenge”. “Yeah ” I said. “just as long as you don’t mind a waistline that’s a few inches wider these days! Not to mention my total lack of muscle tone… everything is sagging, my teeth are a bit yellowed and I'm developing jowls like a Great Dane!” She laughed and told me to stop being so silly. She teased me saying that tubby, gray haired, older men where cute, and she was sure I would still be a great lover. Anyway she giggled and said, “I've put on a few pounds myself!” So I told her to **** off.

I have one on the Valkyrie too, haven't hunted with it yet. the two 300 blk have a Konus and Leapers UTG, I hunted with the leapers (top one) a couple times, actually dropped the gun, it was unloaded. it fell pretty hard and it didn't knock the scope off. All of them are cheap scopes, not had any problems YET, but that can change,

I have a bushnell banner on the Grendel, it's a nice scope for the money. Can't say the longevity of it as it's fairly new.

I like a light on my hunting guns, I use them to walk to and from the deer stand. it's about a 400 yard walk in the dark both ways. pretty handy I don't have to carry a light in my pocket.

Have had no problems with any diamondback, far as price goes I can't help you. I never built one to know if it's a good deal.

I didn't know they made a kit for the shield, my 9mm shield don't have a bad trigger, it's not great either. the sd40 had a horrible trigger. I wouldn't put a gun out with one that bad, even though it is a cheap model.

lol, what upgrade did you do? I put an apex trigger kit in the horrible trigger on the smith SD40

Probably was, they looked like the ones in the pic best I remember, we didn't remove many and they had been there for many years.

This place had square nails in it if I remember right.

I helped work on a house years ago that was built with hardwood studs. all the frame was hardwood and old hardwood at that. I don't know how old the place was but it was old. we couldn't drive a nail in that stuff for nothing. 16 penny nails would bend way before they sank to the head, even if you hit them straight on.

That home made sabot round is pretty bad ass too.
