Must be the pic angle but that front offset sight looks just a tad skewed. -

I doubt it - they all look like that when the gas block is removed unless no rounds fired. I have never heard of sleeving the gas port. I’d be real surprised.

Yup wooden dowel prob have a burr inside that will need removed when done. Just don’t damage rifling when removing burr. My barrel was surprisingly easy to drill larger

It’s actually technician, general, extra. The old novice and advanced are still grandfathered but not issued anymore.

Just get them to send you another one. Isn’t it just a set screw? You could prob get one at the local ace hardware.

How’s it go.... when I pull up to the pearly gates I don’t want to be in a pristine body I want to be haggered, beat up, and out of breath screaming Whew! Hell of a ride! I’ll be 60 in March - may pull the plug then.
