  1. You guys with normal hands and fingers might not be quite as excited as I was to learn of this tool but I couldn't order it fast enough https://308ar.com/ar15-ejection-cover-hinge-pin-clip-tool-rotor-clip/
  2. I thought you were gonna make me some bbq
  3. Ill post this too. John Boyett wrote us a page on the Milrad Reticle https://308ar.com/articles/target_engagement_milrad_reticle/
  4. Someone suggested this thing to me. I have not placed my order yet but it was well received on FB https://308ar.com/mildot-master-mildot-calculator/
  5. One of the most important people in my life just happens to own a bike shop. Back in December wheels were put in motion to build a bike from the ground up based on an Ibis Ripley frame. I sold my Jekyll to near what I paid for it. Im recycling the Chris King based wheels from my Rumblefish. Most of the bike will be Shimano XT based. We held out a bit on the hardware to see what the new year would bring. Going to run the same shocks Ibis would supply. Probably a 2x11 XT drive. Im really excited. The picture below is pretty much what it looks like except the wheels. We joked about using the XT Di2. I love the Di2 on my road bike, Ill never go back. The expense and risk for the MTB stuff is over the top even at dealer cost. When i bought the Trek Rumblefish Elite I really thought it would be my last mountain bike. Never thought I would get back to this level at my age, 50 in July. I should have the new bike very soon
  6. At my age I dont refuse much these days
  7. He only has one, His "Pee shooter"
  8. Well this certainly tells me you guys never visit the home page LMAO. Im going to have Jason write a script to randomly send guys to the Armalite section of the home page or a pic of Rob and I in speedo's. Rob's the one in the cowboy hat Anyhow, there will be another brief outage at some point to make one more set of DNS changes. There is also a new version of the forum software..again.
  9. Look what I did to mine http://modularrifle.com/mdt-tac21-20inch-suppressed-modular-rifle/
  10. Thanks guys! We actually will have room for guests. Totally open to visits from friends. So far everything is on track. Waiting for the bank to appraise the house. Our closing is looking to be December 18. Difficult to be excited though. Looks like my current situation will be closed on Thursday. I met the new landlords. It's three Israeli's. The rubbed me wrong right off. i have been packing up my woodshop for 10 days now. Tomorrow I start disassembling the stationary equipment. Thursday I have a Pack-Rat POD type thing getting dropped off. The faster I get my shit out of here the better Ill feel. I do not trust these guys AT ALL.
  11. Thanks guys! I actual;ly run a commercial security system in my apartment. Taking it with me for sure
  12. I have this funny idea. Backing up a uhaul on a busy Saturday afternoon. Unload the woodshop......unload guitars, amps and speaker cabinets....wheel the gun safes in......carry the guns in one at a time. Monday morning for sale signs up and down the street.
  13. Use this link · K4K: $20 Off Orders $200+ · K4M: $40 Off Orders $350+ · K4N: $60 Off Orders $500+
  14. 98Z5V's post about pistol calibers is correct. A close friend in the biz suggests them so pins never have the chance to wear. I have them on a few rifles.
  15. Thanks guys. My girl is the one buying it on paper. She has an incredible credit score. Mine is close to embarrassing. She's also 3/4 of the deposit. It seems I piss away a lot of money and neither of us makes that much. I just work a couple jobs. Leaving my current situation will end my career as a property manager. I wont miss that gig one bit. My panel saw is going to a new home. The rest of the woodshop will follow us but that damn Delta Unisaw will take up a lot of garage. I attached an image of that for kicks
  16. All social media is necessary today. FB plays games I cant stand though.Instagram is my personal favorite social media. I actually enjoy that.
  17. As some know I was dealt a pretty crappy deal recently and was scrambling to find a place to rent that would allow a guy with 6 cats, a woodshop and an arsenal. After logging hundreds of miles and viewing about thirty houses we found something to call our own. The property is not ideal but everything else was "just right". Feels pretty funny buying our first home at 49 and 53 years old. Anyhow if all goes well i wont need an interim place to live. My woodshop might. looking at Dec 18ish for a closing
  18. The short of it is lot of these companies are just cheap and or cant grasp the value that loyalty generates. Rainier, PA, Midway and SWFA to name a few.
