  1. Wow, to be such old geezers, you sure are a rowdy bunch! <laughs> *Runs away pointedly in extreme slow motion* <outtahere>
  2. They're only watching us because our toys are so cool, and because we make them laugh until their sides hurt and their supervisors start to wonder what exactly they're looking at... :p
  3. $50 says Tom never brushes his teeth or uses mouthwash ever again.... The rumor is that he's always used Hoppes #9 anyways.... <laughs>
  4. Oh ma gawd! Who photobombed the hot gal, and more importantly, WHY???
  5. ... and the orange flag and the little vanity plate?
  6. ^^^ No pink squeaky horn, or chromed bell? COME ON!!! <laughs>
  7. I think a lot of the stigma comes from the feeling that carrying a semi auto through the woods will somehow propogate the anti-gun/anti-hunting sentiment that we are all running around with high-cap mags mowing down helpless animals in full-auto mode. I have had this discussion with my own brother, about ARs and hunting. My stipulation was that I'd let him ban my AR when he'd let me ban his semi auto Browning BAR or Remington 742. When he came back with the "Mine aren't assault rifles..." I told him to look up the history of the BAR and get back to me on that. I've heard nothing since.
  8. Yes, they pin the remaining shreds of your dignity right back on at the end and pat you on the back.... >:D
  9. Hold your ground my friend, we were here first!! ;)
  10. If it's the correct wrench, it will have several small protrusions that fit into the gas tube holes in the barrel nut. Don't go buying that wrench either, several of us have one we will ship around for goodwill's sake, you're certainly welcome to mine.
  11. Tom is right on the money here, and is especially correct about the loc-tite. Put the heat gun on that barrel nut when you get it all vised up, and don't let up for a couple minutes or so, and then put the barrel nut wrench on that sucker and go to town.
  12. Steel and wood indeed! I experienced a little of both just reading the thread...
  13. It's like chess brother, you have to play the rules in your own favor... ;)
  14. Well, the NSA probably panicked for 30 seconds before locating his former security clearance and realizing that he's been one of the good guys for quite a while.
  15. Pics of the item for sale please, thanks. :wwop:
  16. ROFLMAO
  17. I'll vouch for that, adding a can turns your AR into a gas pump... <laughs>
  18. You have no idea of how right you are. I was gripped by paralysis for a full 45 minutes before I was able to fap....
  19. Jon is now permanently assigned to disciplinary weapons cleaning for the foreseeable future. I'm very disappointed in you Jon!!!!! :p
  20. You've got your priorities in order, I have the utmost respect for that. We got your back brother! <thumbsup>

LOL Oh if we could only all go the way blue went....
  22. I've never seen any unkind remarks about this site, but I don't spend the time there that I spend here.
  23. Welcome Sean, I see your posts all the time over at the Hide! Good to have you here, make yourself right at home.
  24. One thing to look at with barrels, is the way they are manufactured. (Point cut vs. button) Also, take reputation and reviews into consideration. You couldn't go wrong with something like a Krieger for instance, but only you can determine do you want to shoot lighter bullets through a lighter twist or heavier bullets through a heavier twist, and so forth.
