  1. Their reputation for their barrels was why I wanted to use them in the first place. I truly wish that I could've based my opinion of them on their product, but their customer service sucks to the point of impossibility on that front. What confounds me more than anything was that they couldn't even get an already profiled barrel that was in stock and on the shelf to me. You would think that as a business owner, the least you could do for a customer who has waited two years is to rush him an item you have in stock ready to ship. Anyways, if you decide that a Frigidaire campout is still in order, I've got a refund check that will cover your fuel and time to Georgia... >:D
  2. The Para Expert is quite nice, I have one and it is my CCW and I couldn't love it more. CZ has some offerings that are pretty interesting too, you might check them out.
  3. You should get one just for comparisons sake. Tom got one just to see what all the rage was about, and the only reason he didn't convert is because he sold his soul in trade to Geiselle for a DMR trigger... <laughs> <lmao>
  4. It certainly did, I had every intention of calling the DA down there and getting some pressure mounting today. I was relieved as all get out to get that check, I didn't have any expectation that they would keep their word on the refund any more than they did getting me my barrel.
  5. What I originally had in mind was much more involved than just a simple mom & pop, the need was for a company who could generate large scale quantities of a single unique profile. Going forward, that will still be the case but I'll get my prototype from a reputable company.
  6. Lothar Walther sent my check. I was prepared to call the District Attorney on this coming Monday. This thing is finally over!
  7. How do the PRS and the angled sights get along? Good looking rifle brother!
  8. Kriss? I'll have to give that picture a 1,000,000,000th checkover, this time looking for a weapon....
  9. Today it's pictures of those danged assault arrows, tomorrow it will be my boy being sent home from school for shooting an imaginary bow.... ... good grief, it's just crazy enough that it could actually happen.
  10. Glad to hear from you again brother, it's been quite a while!
  11. It's the stress, no sane person would've worn that hat.... I'm just sayin! <laughs>
  12. In the still from the video, he's leaning forward with it, as if all that rifle weight isn't far enough from your center of gravity as it is... but NO he has rub it in that not only is he man enough to shoot it standing, he's going to do it leaning way forward too...
  13. If you found something on Google that is interesting, disgusting, infuriating, hilarious, unbelievable, miraculous, whatever.... Post it here under the caption "Google: ", as in this example: Google: "Blurred Lines unrated version" You'll thank me if you google it. Keep the thread going. Links to "LMGTFY" are also kosher. The only rules are that there are no rules, but try to include the text "NSFW" in your response title if it is something someone would get in trouble for looking at while on the job.
  14. I wouldn't want to have video of what would happen to me if i had to hold the beast upright and shoot from standing for 15 seconds. It would probably involve an ambulance and field hernia surgery.
  15. Yep! I can come home late every night and look at all my new toys and think about how much fun it would be to have time to shoot them.... :P
  16. It's as simple as holding to the rear when you pull through the break. Once the recoil impulse is complete and the weapon returns to the NPA, ease off pressure until you feel the reset and repeat as necessary. ;)
  17. That won't be necessary, LOL.....
  18. Thanks everybody. Considering what I usually think of management, I'm not sure if I should feel insulted or just enjoy the perks.
  19. <laughs> <lmao> WOW! Had difficulty regaining my breath on that one!
  20. "You'll be taking over the Site Manager's job!" That's what management told me Tuesday morning when I came in to work at a plant where I was loaned out all last week because their silo operator was on vacation. The site manager got sick on the weekend and I was asked to come in and work in his place Monday. Tuesday morning I walked in as a mere peon and walked out as the site manager. NEVER SAW IT COMING! I figured there would at least be some intermediate step or something, but NO! I can't even figure out what their thought process was... Boss: "Hey, was Matt there in a timely manner this morning?" Boss' Assistant: "Yes sir, right on time." Boss: "Oh good, just make him the new Site Manager then..." Boss' Assistant: "No problem, will do." Seriously, WTF? Has this happened to anyone else?
  21. Good luck to you brother Terry, hope all goes well for you!
  22. Thanks, you saved me from having to ask!! <thumbsup>
  23. If I'm not mistaken, the CWS weights are adjustable, whereas the heavy buffers are a single weight.
  24. If you're looking at that and her face comes to mind, I have bad news for you.... <dontknow> Just sayin! <laughs> <lmao>
