I gotta tell ya, this one-off they sent me is really nice. If I'd been thinking, I would've had it serialized so I had number 1 of 1 shipped. <laughs> <lmao> No, that would be the Young Mfg bolt carrier.... I gotta say though, my one-off isn't particularly impressive. It's machined in such a manner as to override the bolt catch on the last round out of the magazine, and that aggravates the crap out of me because now I gotta buy a chamber indicator for the range.

I use a CS flat wound and would also like to know why your opinion of that spring is so low... I've never had any problem whatsoever with mine, and it has actually fixed problems with dented case necks on one of my rifles.

I'll try to answer in the order mentioned; Welcome to the forums! Tight, yes that's normal, but it will loosen up quite quickly. Run that sucker with plenty of lube in the action until it's broken in. It will probably get noticeably less tight once it's well-lubed. Last, you don't have to worry about flaming, we don't tolerate that crap here. Talk to 98Z5V about joining our MIL/LEO section, we really appreciate our service members. Enjoy the forums!

You won't find me disagreeing about the SR Gold, it still holds Top Dog status as far as AR triggers is concerned. I have yet to pull a trigger that's better. <munch>

That's the same thing I have. I tried it out in the MA TEN, but it caused reliability problems. I don't mind selling it at all. It's lightly used, if you want to test it before you buy I'll gladly do that too. Up to you, just PM me.
