It's not even remotely about making sense anymore, it's just the government getting press for trying to take action. I sincerely hope high-profile anti-gun government officials start getting knocked off with stuff like forks, butter knives, baseball bats, rat poison, anything except for guns. Maybe that way one of those idiots would wake up and realize that no matter what weapon they ban, they will never do away with the intent to do harm, and people's ability to get creative about doing so.

My little fella is learning to speak. He will probably be ready for his first gun @ 4 yrs old. I have pictures of me when I was hardly knee high, proudly holding a gun I could barely keep the muzzle off the ground. It didn't hurt me to learn from the time I could walk, and it won't hurt my son either. Ammunition will remain inaccessible and in an unknown location for him, but he can spend plenty of time learning good habits and gun safety, when we're not shooting.

Today is Veteran's Day and this is my way of honoring the brave men and women of our great country who have served, are serving, or have made a commitment to serve our country by joining the military: I heard a WWII veteran on the radio today giving a short story about his experience at Pearl Harbor. As far as I'm concerned, it was two of the most profound minutes I've experienced in a lifetime. I'm getting better at what I'm doing, FGMM in my Mega Mono averages about .75 to 1 MOA these days. I'm pretty sure even that will improve in time. <thumbsup>

Oh sorry, the range was 100yds, it's all I've got right now.

Oh, my Mega MA TEN .308 build.

Had another range day today, and only had time to run about 40 rounds downrange. I got two more 5-shot groups today that can be covered with a quarter! Starting to settle in and get more consistent with each range trip. I'm also realizing how badly I need to go ahead and invest in a reloading kit, which will probably be my next big purchase.
