  1. I sense much anger in you. Anger leads to hate....
  2. I should've been more specific. I was speaking about the LPK. PWS uses standard LPK parts. SID has proprietary LPK parts.
  3. You're really comparing a diesel vs a gas truck. Both are great guns, that you won't be disappointed with. SID makes a completely ambidextrous rifle, using proprietary parts. IMHO, they are the most advanced design on the market. PWS uses more mainstream parts, and is a long stroke piston system. The parts they make in-house are top notch.
  4. I'm sure we all know what a PMAG looks like, but (per the forum rules) could you please find the time to post some pictures of your items? "Good" Pictures help protect the buyer and the seller from any miscommunication.
  5. Are they even salvageable?
  6. I'm unloading a wood M1A scout. A good rifle that'd get more use in another home.
  7. The pistol I'll be shooting is the comp'd 4.5"
  8. For the record, I also bought one. I don't know where it's going yet, but I'm not letting all you bastards get away with the best deals.
  9. My buddy just picked up a box of 550gr for his .500 S&W.... now he's too chicken to drop the hammer. I'm itchin' to launch a few of those.
  10. Anti walk pins are best for F/A or bump-fire (Like Vera) guns. I don't even think a 3-gun race rifle takes full advantage of the pins. If you buy a trigger module, like CMC or Timney or Jard, they come with their own sets of anti walk pins.... so does the new MechArmor Defense trigger.
  11. SnipersHide and Weapons-Owners both have a similar group buy. Despite being much larger, they don't always have the same following we have. They also don't always get the same price we get. We absolutely out shined both of them when we did the TacOps-1 charging handle.
  12. I just announced this on Facebook. The lurking masses may be snatching up the rest soon... just a fair warning. Tom, just making sure you got a "spare" before they're all gone. Lol
  13. That wood is the primary reason I bought and kept that shotgun. When I modified it, I knew it was staying as close to original as possible.
  14. Not sure why yours doesn't work for me, but mine does? ? ?
  15. http://www.m1911.org/technic_forum.htm
  16. Link is busted
  17. This barrel is one hellofa slug flinger. I was whackin silhouette head shots at 50 yards, no problem. I feel a Beachin sling is in its future.
  18. SurvivalShop once said, "people should be required to get a license to use a dremel tool." You don't have to look too close to see I was losing it bad. I swear I looked like Michael J Fox trying to shave with a straight razor.
  19. Upgrades: • Extended extra strength mag tube spring - cut to fit (damn near cut off 40%) • Vang low friction follower • Magpul Barrel Clamp w/ QD Sling Mount • GG&G rear QD Sling Mount • Remington +3 mag tube... because those Choate tube are all crooked.
  20. So back when I was about 16 years old (21 years ago) I traded my over-under 20ga for a 1950's Remington 870 12ga Wingmaster. I have shot damn near everything with wings, except geese since this shotgun only accepts 2-3/4". As time went by I have left it completely stock and untouched. A few years ago I "acquired" a Police 18.5" Rifle barrel... don't ask where it came from. The barrel was almost as old as my 870, so it mated well when it went to a Remington armorers school. I definitely stood out with my cowboy shotgun amongst some crazy custom jobs. Recently I was given a few extra parts for my 870, and it all started with a pin. I installed the pin and almost immediately after, I was given a +3 tube... of course it was missing a spring and barrel clamp, so back to the interwebz for more parts. A few upgrades here and there, a few more parts to get the free shipping, then sit and wait. Of course the heat shroud was not designed for a barrel with sights... so SOME fitting was required. Needless to say I had too much time on my hands. See what happens when the wife leaves me unattended! On the bright side, she's loaded with 000 Buck and parked as the new house gun.
  21. That's very tempting
  22. That's because you haven't put a LAW folding stock on yours yet... and carry it as a truck gun.
  23. If you can call it a "scope". It's that lame dual optic carry handle they came with... horrible batt/solar red dot over an even worse 2x10mm optic
  24. We shoot 55gr SP and I can barely hold a 8MOA with the godawful 2x scope that comes with it
