  1. I'd be offended if you passed up on an opportunity. Once your friends stop messing with you, you realize you didn't have many friends in the first place.
  2. I use this YHM side clamp gas block. It fits under everything I've tried so far.
  3. Lol. That's my custom 5 round "stubby" made by MidwestPX. We can only hunt with 5 rounds in our rifles. I built my 300Blk to hunt pigs.
  4. 14.5" 300Blk w/ Carbine gas. Modified PRI (faux) gasblock, BABC, Magpul MBUS
  5. I'm still kicking myself for not buying when Armalite had their .22lr uppers on sale last year. I think they were $400 per upper.
  6. The rifle can technically be fired when folded. It will fire one time, and then break the locking mechanism, thus requiring replacement. The locking mechanism prevents the bolt from flying back and hitting the shooter. It is designed so that the lock is broken when fired, instead of the whole assembly shattering.
  7. Sounds great to me! Never a doubt that BAD Inc has our best interest in mind. I never really understood why the internals needed to be painted.
  8. I'm interested in this, if they come marked "pistol".
  9. Blue, did you widen the gas hole?
  10. Make it a woody too! A Dissapator/Woody would be nice. Model1 sells Dissy barrels. Lots of options there. Traditionally the barrels were carbine gas, but Mod1 sells 16" mid length dissy barrels. If you want to use an actual rifle length gas, I suggest making it into a piston gun. Otherwise you'll be stuck using heavyweight projo's all the time. If you decide to build from scratch, and you don't buy a Dissy barrel, you have to get creative. I built a 14.5" 300Blk and made it into a Dissy. I suggest the YHM side clamp lo-pro gas block. Then the Armalite clamp on A2 sight. If you like the A2, and you think you'll ever mount s scope, check out the flip-up A2. I have a two Colt A2 uppers, a 16" HBAR and a 20" HBAR. I plan on a woody/Dissy for at least one of them.
  11. I've been looking at those PWS "Summit" 10/22's too
  12. My favorite .22 is my 77/22. I love that little guy. Always wanted a Browning Buckmark but never jumped on it. Believe the words of caution on the 10/22. Not only are they addicting, but they will justify larger expenses for your AR's. Soon you'll be saying, "If I can spend $100 on a .22 part, I can definitely afford $500 on an AR15 part."
  13. I drove a "test" bike when these were first getting released. Lots of torque, one gear, but super short battery life. I pegged out at about 55mph and was done. After about 2 miles at max speed, I had nearly drained the battery. I suggested buying the bike, after a few years. The technology just wasn't there yet. Good idea, poorly applied.
  14. This is really fast, but I'm thinking something like this would be pretty sweet...
  15. Hmmmm, I'm thinking an orange paint job, with stainless steel barrel and BCG, and black grip/rail covers and butt stock .
  16. I'm in for a his/hers collection of anything that gets made! Maybe more!
  17. I fully agree.... <thumbsup>
  18. Yup! I spoke with Zachary Law (from LAW Tactical) and he said the adapter was actually designed for the SR25 rifle. He was tired of lugging around the giant rifle, and finding adequate means to transport.
  19. It's all a farse. Yes she had the preventative surgery... but then she had reconstructive surgery!!! I'll bet they look like they are 18 years old and coming out of a cold simming pool. She has enough $$$ to make sure that she never ages.
  20. I used DuraCoat's "Tactical Olive Drab" to match, with a matte clear coat. In the picture below, the handguard and magazine are DuraCoated, the pistol grip is a Magpul MIAD (OD)
  21. Welcome. If you're from SoCal, you should be checking out JD Machine Tech. They are a San Diego based manufacturer. They make nice stuff for decent prices.
  22. Or even a Thompson Contender.
  23. When I see that, I can't help but picture this....
