  1. Are you offering to run orders for us?
  2. Several Cali Sheriffs have thrown their hats in the ring... Looks like I might have a nearby county to move to soon! <thumbsup>
  3. Damn it! That's a Fulton 16" rifle length barrel!!! I wanted that fucking barrel so bad, I could taste blood. That is a beautiful stick bro. I'm jealous.
  4. [glow=green,20,500]IowaFClass is good to go![/glow] <thumbsup> <thumbsup> + Great communication + Phenomenal personal ethics + Exceptional packaging + Fast shipping One hell of a guy to deal with! If I ever end up in Iowa, the first couple rounds will be on me <thumbsup>
  5. More likely to be NatGeo or Animal Planet... :P
  6. Looks great! <thumbsup>
  7. Northern Montana has some of the best machine shops in the country. SI Defense, NEMO Arms, PROOF Research... All companies at the top of the game. My SI-D .308 can be found on this site.
  8. If you were an actual manufacturer, buying/building in mass, you'd have saved about 10%-20% more by not paying mark up. The "Jack" is easily marked up $700 from their cost. That is what kills me. Tom built a BEAUTIFUL rifle that I'd be FAR more appreciative of before I would be of a "Jack".
  9. <thumbsup> I agree
  10. I'm making it my plan to be at Shot Show 2014! I hate that I miss this every year.
  11. I'm stealing this!! <thumbsup>
  12. Haha, fuck! I just woke up and got all excited about casting. Then I just took off in a sleepy haze and started typing. I actually completely forgot about the bullet part, and started thinking about casting parts.
  13. Just a heads up... I have a SI Defense .308 BCG. It is a phenominal piece of equipment. SI Defense makes A+ quality parts. The caution is, their bolt carrier group was selling between $425 to $625 BEFORE everything went crazy. One of the best products out there, but you will pay for that quality!
  14. I have melted down stripped carburetors and VW engine blocks for aluminum. I'll bet a car yard would give you a sweet deal on a cracked, or otherwise irreparable, alum wheel too.
  15. That looks so sweet. I'm envious!
  16. The YHM mags (for 7.62x39) are made by ACS. I have several <thumbsup>
  17. Are you trying to make a "featureless rifle"? If not, that fact that you have a bullet-button negates the restriction against the deadly flash-hiders. If its because you just don't want one, I can't argue that. Remington (and soon S&W) makes a standard crowned muzzle barrel, sans threads. It's super lightweight too! If you have troubles finding the barrel, you could always remove the evil flash hider and replace it with a thread protector.
  18. My buddy was charged for an order of mags that never shipped. He had to get his credit card company involved. They said CProducts was incommunicado, and possibly out of business. I haven't seen anything new from them in a year.
  19. There is so much truth in that title. Not everyone is aware... Very recently, a motorcycle cop got himself in a situation with a certified psycho. Long story short, a knock-down, drag-out fight ensued. The end result was a smiling motor cop and a thuroughly thrashed psycho... Oh yeah, and Mr Psycho shat himself somewhere mid-thrashing (hence the title). If you tell a motor cop you're going to deck him in the face, and his only response is a smile... Getting the "shit beat out of you" is not figurative speech.
  20. :laughing4: :laughing4: You know it!
  21. How fast were you shooting, and how many rounds??? My 300Blk and my .308 both have a MBUS sight on their PRI gas blocks.... Neither show any signs of melting. I guess my 300Blk doesn't count, because its not a "real" gas block. My .308 sights are still running solid... But the carbon fiber barrel might be helping.
  22. That's because it's a Saiga. It's not normally built with a pistol grip. Saigas have regular stocks. If you want it to look like a "normal" AK you have to cut the shit out of the receiver and weld it all back together. Saiga conversions are a real PITA. That Saiga has a more reasonable stock assembly kit. It's longer than standard, but a lot easier to install than a complete conversion.
  23. Let me know if those mags still need a good home. I have a very nice 308 that plays very well with PMAGs.
  24. On the other hand. If any of you Yorkers decide its too much effort to fight it, and would rather roll over and bare your throat... I'll offer you fair market (Pre Nov 2012) value on your mags. <thumbsup>
  25. I was looking at those. Which would match up to Magpul FDE better? 'Field Drab' or 'Urban Tan'
