Are you SURE you're using a .308 mag catch? An AR15 version will fit, and sometimes work properly, but there is definitely a .308 version. Personally, I swapped out to an AR-10A model. There's a comparison around here somewhere.

This is one of my newer EDC pistolas. I've been carrying with an 8 round mag, and use the 9 rounder for the range. The two 7's literally just sit in the case. I will trade BOTH of my 7 round mags for ONE 9 round mag. That's TWO mags for ONE. It'd be nice if the 9 rounder came with the extension sleeves. Must be XDs 9mm, only.

I'm actually a bigger fan of the S&W 327 TRR8 over the 325. Having 8 rounds is one heck of a survival pistol... does the 327 work with 9mm in moon clips?

I've taught "more finger" for these new striker fired pistols for years. The "finger tip pad" concept was great for single action marksmanship, with micro trigger pulls. All these new longer trigger pulls are requiring a new school of training. Larger and more controllable finger/hand muscles are ideal for these DAO/Striker fired fire arms

Lr308 and AR10 use the same charging handle. The RRA LAR-8 and the DPMS GENii are the only .308 exceptions I'm aware of, off the top of my head.

I'm back to boot shopping again. I just wore out my Solomon 3D Forces. They were decent boots, but didn't hold up to daily duty boot standards. I don't think I got 12 months out of them. Part of me is saying to follow uniform standards and get something like the Bates Strike 6" boot. Then the Cali-hippie, granola-muncher, side of me is saying to buy the new North Face or Merrell boot... because it feels like they're having sex with your feet... in a good way.

I need help finding a rail kit for my Havoc 9". Spikes made the Kaos stock system, but they're near impossible to find now. I may have one other option, but I have to wait till the next gun show to check it out.

Now it was explained to me that a "flare launcher" is totally legal without any special license or certificate. This is strictly a 37mm emergency flare launching device... lol tempted to get a 20mm or 12ga adapter for more affordable "flares". I was told that a DD stamp was only required if you plan to load anti-personnel shells.

I just acquired a Spike's HAVOC 9" launcher... Let me figure something out here. I may mount it, or I may make it a stand alone system. I think I sourced a new frame system... Just have to decide if I want to make it with a stock or pistol grip only. LOL
