  1. I liked the book, and the movie was loosely translated. Some details here and there fit, others did not. It was an entertaining movie, not a great one though.
  2. Good advice, mine was 450 an hour, but worth every penny. You are always welcome to pm me, or call, I'm available for you if you need an ear man!
  3. That's an easy one, send the 41 to me!
  4. You now realize that if you buy that barrel, you must go with an Armalite patterned receiver, or a Mega set which can use either pattern.
  5. Get a good lawyer Pat, sorry man, been there once, got the best lawyer I could and ended alright. You make it out to the north east anywhere, I'll meet you and lunch and refreshments are on me
  6. Welcome back Pat, even if its ever so briefly.
  7. How much for the ACOG? Lol.

    Heat!

You want to talk about work and heat? It's 2 am right now, the floor reads 103* with an IR gun, and my machine is 600*. Earlier we climbed inside and spent 45 mins in there changing metal screen filters. Yup, hot. And everything in here is water cooled, so 100% humidity
  9. Nice, mine is the first gen rifle, pre key mod. I wish mine had that option at the time, but the rail is light and I like the way it's set up now

    Heat!

97 here in Mass with 73% humidity, 8th day in a row over 95. Add 20* and that's work temps. I am par broiled.
  11. Welcome, you and I were talking on his Facebook post earlier. Lots to learn, and spend.....
  12. Lothar LW50 barrels are, but who knows if you can get one. The rainier barrel has a good twist rate for stabilizing bullets up to 175gr or so, and think you'd do fine by it
  13. I ordered yesterday, and Midwest px had shipped the order in less than an hour with a tracking number….. that's good for a repeat buy in my book
  14. He'll need more than that doctor!
  15. I again will refer you to call Clint, from Heavybuffers.com, I bet he could answer your question right quick. BTW, an h2 buffer and red spring are ar15 parts I believe, and shouldn't be used on these rifles.
  16. Thanks for the hook up to Midwest PX, you just cost me a c note, to start.
  17. HAH HAH! Nelson Muntz style! Remember Roger, my wish list is 3 consecutive serial numbers, engraved for class 3, and maybe one that says "Robo sucks!" <laughs>
  18. Nice job there Robo and Van, I wished it worked in my LaRue.
  19. Any day out is a good one, hope you had fun! BTW, Heather says you look like you've lost weight, and are much healthier looking!
  20. I would say yes, as long as you find someone with equipment and time enough to provide a solution. Not a great answer, but that's what it really boils down to
  21. You want me to smack him Roger or do you want the honors?
  22. It's the tube that is ruining your day. Also I would change out the buffer and spring for proper 308ar parts from Clint at Heavybuffers.com. I run his heavy stuff on all my ar's, big and small, including my OBR. You will decrease recoil and follow up shots will be much faster, and yes, you can keep the SOPMOD. Here's a reference chart from his site, and you can see the tube is definitely off. http://heavybuffers.com/reference.html
  23. Yes, this is a pattern that will get you reprimanded for soliciting. You are warned
  24. Welcome from Mass, not sure whose rail that is but maybe a PRI rail may work? We'll release the hounds for you!
  25. <thumbsup> , but oh the tires costs, and I thought my racing costs were bad
