  1. Bravo company has them in stock http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/AR15-Ejection-Port-Cover-Assembly-p/ejection%20port%20cover%20assembly.htm
  2. Hold on, I just got one a month ago, let me remember where...
  3. You know it! Maybe a nfa one, but either way it's on the back burner for now, it'll be the Spartan lower with a2 NM irons. Definitely MOE handguard…..that is sexy Robo!
  4. Tom (98z5v) had posted earlier in the thread on this, and I trust him 100% on all his info! But I would say you can install one and not use it, use it, or the plug you found will work.
  5. let's merge and sticky! <thumbsup>
  6. welcome!
  7. I have a dissipator build in mind using one, I like the way they look and feel, and might be the only rail-less forearm I'd buy.
  8. Thanks Jon. It was this way for us too(except I had my very young daughter), and our 2nd each also, so we really knew what we wanted. Funny about the way you met, it was similar for us. We had agreed to go for a hike, and it ended up being 21* and a foot of fresh snow in Feb, and Heather was there happy as hell to be outside! :love4:
  9. No Waterboy, that's what we encourage here. Thanks for the link.
  10. I use the ACS on all my rifles, except my OBR, which wears a PRS
  11. Congrats Jon, I hope to there someday. Hope you have many more.
  12. When can I come down, and what type of beer do I bring?
  13. Welcome Will, browse the site a bit, get some ideas, and then let us know what you like and we can go from there…. by the way, the Troy rail is a great start
  14. <thumbsup> Simply awesome! Nice millenium falcon and stuffed fox in the bedroom decor! Rob's probably over there to offer a few bucks for it now!
  15. ^^^^ That man bleeds red, white and blue! <thumbsup>
  16. <thumbsup> very nice
  17. I'm a big fan of the Unimog if we're playing in the dirt and the Terradyne Gurkha for oh shit moments!
  18. Haven't seen that one there in a while….
  19. I liked Jon's idea, so I hi-jacked it with a twist. Many of us here are gear heads. I too suffer from this affliction. So let me see your dream cars, past and present. For those who also suffer the two wheel addiction, that can be used as a substitute or added with you car pics. Oh, to qualify as old, I want pre '73, cause after that there were no muscle in the muscle cars imho. Here are my choices: Pagani Zonda Cinque and a '67 427 Vette (very hard decision, Yenko camaro, and 67 SS Chevelle 396 were also rans!) For bikes Ducati Desmosedici RR and a 67 MV Agusta 500 3 cilindri
  20. My thoughts also, it's a tough world, and the kids are better off it sounds like.
  21. OK, don't make me lock this thread out of jealousy!!!!!!!!!!! <lmao> <laughs> Fine work gentleman!
  22. I say that because of the pressures of the .308 should be plenty enough to cycle the action. I see your point, but I want to caution the use of one to solve any "problems" of the bolt not going into battery… or any other reason someone may try to use it where it will become a safety issue
  23. Guys, keep in mind, if you have to use a forward assist on a .308, you have problems and should stop shooting immediately! Buying a BCG without one will not affect you rifle with a forward assist on it, you just won't be able to use it.
  24. First off, welcome to the forum. I have a 14.5" barrel and a 20" barrel, and they are both loud! (muzzle brakes) I would not worry about getting a 16" barrel, it will suit your purposes more than fine out to 600yds plus with the right ammo and scope. After that it may not be the best length for making a good kill shot, and I would step out to an 18". As for recoil, you can get a heavy buffer from HeavyBuffers.com, they are a no compromise buffer that significantly reduce recoil…. I run them in all my .308 and 5.56 rifles
  25. Well Drew, before they leave, the two of us could go up there and scare the bejezus out of him if you want, just to make sure he has Erin's best in mind, I'm on the way if you go up 91!
