  1. Nicely done, I love the classics. <thumbsup>
  2. Glock 19 or 26
  3. I have the cqc for my glock 26, and while its a good holster, I am 5'11" and 190, and can' conceal unless I wear a sweatshirt. That being said I plan on buying a crossbreed ultratuck when finances permit after hearing good things
  4. jboyette, i think i read you had one of these and i was wondering how it's stood up over time. they are very reasonably priced and i am thinking of an optic for my pws. so far it's between this and an ml2 aimpoint
  5. just received my enhanced butt pad from magpul, to put on my pws, i don't think that i will ever have a moe or ctr stock without one now. installation was cake and it's feel is far better than the standard or skinny one
  6. it is nice, what is the big tube, is it for tightening the barrel nut? oh 98, i think i might order mine for next spring, the predator custom m24a3, i get tingly all over for it
  7. we didn't release the press release, nor are we slandering anyone. i don't think anyone here has tried to make someone look bad. i wanted a kaiser, and now i know why i have heard from them. its too bad but there is something that will eventually come out into the open through the legal process.
  8. would be nice if they advertised them for that ,it would let mine, i mean the ones i want, become legal. they are the best mags i've used and they would sell a ton here.
  9. i live in a state that requires a pinned device, and i have no exp with changing them to experiment with what different brakes can do for a rifle, both of mine have them. my larue has the surefire qd brake (even though i can't have a can, i can dream can't i?) and my pws has their fsc 30. i can keep my larue on target at lower magnifications with my leupold mk4, but as soon as i crank up the power on the scope, i lose target hold during the shot briefly, which could be me more than anything. on the pws with iron i never lose target acquisition, but again, thats not looking through glass at 14 power. hope it helps.
  10. i think this guy may have been the flash point for the infection <lmao>. really though, welcome to the fray
  11. i found that i really like the magpuls, i have both and you should have no problems with either. congrads.
  12. i've yet to start but i too wish for the dillon, with the reason to find the best load for my rifles and too save. i have all my brass and figure next year as a start time.
  13. <thumbsup>, okay, went to range today to do break in and a full four hours of shooting and here is what i have. target was at 50 yards, 20 rd mag. i like it, and i'm not sure whether it'll get any optics. recoil was well managed, especially for a 14 inch barrel. i haven't put in the geiselle trigger yet, i was a little intimidated last night when i was cleaning and prepping. i might look for a video instruction, :o, to make sure i don't blow it. very happy today to say the least.
  14. damn, to think i started to respect people in this forum <lmao>
  15. i picked up my new mk 214 today. nice tight build with no play between receivers. hell, i had a hard time getting the pins out. its a nice compact rig, way lighter than my larue. i threw on my troy sights and other accessories and it feels nice.pics and range reports to follow.
  16. I just got the troy tritiums to put on my new rifle, and never thought of that I suppose you have to look at end usage, my mk214 will wear them and it will be used as a battle rifle, really never meant for long range usage. My lare has magpuls, but they are buis to my leupold mk 4
  17. here she is, sorry it's dark in my house
  18. I will, later today, im at work right now.
  19. My brownells order came today, troy trtium sights are nice, I can pick up my pws mk214 either thurs or fri if ups stays on time
  20. For jordan it was the shoes, for me its the larue. I have range pics posted from sighting in, five shots at 100, one flier to start and a four shot hole to finish, have had better but no pics. She really is a beaut
  21. Accushot monopod attaches to the lower portion of my prs via picatinny rail, adjustable and lockable, very nice. As for my larue, it is a phenom. Out of the box, sighted in its shooting 3/8" 5 shot groups with 168 gr gold medal match. Never thought I would do that
  22. Prs= magpuls Precision Rifle Stock, an excellent adjustable stock
  23. Papa, my 20 " larue with the prs, a harris ultralight bipod, an accushot mono, and a leupold mk4 comes in a c hair under 16lbs. For what you are looking at that is a good target weight.
  24. hey johnny 5, i like glock also. the 17 is the full size frame, and although i don't have that one, i do have the slightly smaller 19 and the compact 26, and both are fantastic shooters, fill my large (not xtra) hands, and fill your requirements. the best advise would be to try to shoot as many as you can before you purchase, although i know thats not always the easiest thing to do.
