  1. You can, but your brudget may be stretched. It’s easily possible though with time and no set budget (spread out purchases)
  2. None, no, negative, nyet, nein. It’s proprietary.
  3. Welcome to the site. You have a .308AR, not an AR10. So you know and understand AR10 is an Armalite rifle with its own pattern. It is not compatible with .308AR DPMS patterned parts, so we try to avoid using that designation for our rifles to avoid confusion for those searching for correct information. You are the first here with a Savage so feel free to start your own thread with pictures and range reports.
  4. You are welcome here, I’ll have enough, and have the next day off too!
  5. Shepp, will bring the beer if you keep this up
  6. Here too. At least two a shift. Had a good 8 pt Buck last night probably 190-200 field dressed
  7. A few of us have started from ejector springs.....
  8. 1. Not FA cuts is typical for .308 BCG’s. 2. Pictures or markings? You’re not giving many details and I don’t own Taro cards.....
  9. If you time it right, the SSA-E trigger can be had on sale for under $200. I like it a lot and it does well for precision work.
  10. Congrats! She’s on the path to higher learning and better competition.
  11. Very nice! Keep it well lubed and after some rounds (these big boys take a few hundred sometimes to break in) you’ll be able to get back into those stiffer springs
  12. Welcome from my vacation location of St David
  13. This is the perfect example for what I was talking to Susan about.
  14. I heard a rumor there is a secret desert training facility. All jokes aside this is tragic. I never go anywhere unarmed with one exception and that is when I play hockey. Even at home. Unfortunately you cannot predict these events but you can prepare. Train and carry. Prepare for the time you need it.
  15. Typically there isn’t much to gain from 20”, but there will be some gains, if accuracy is your utmost goal and weight isn’t an issue. Keep in my mind your limitations. We don’t know you so don’t be insulted but you can build something far greater than you can reach for accuracy limits. If you have a precision rifle that can do 5 shot groups at .5 moa but you can only shoot 1.5 moa, no part in the world can fix that. I have had one day where I got .375” out of my OBR but have repeated it in YEARS! I’m typically a .75” group. I know the rifle can do it, I’ve done it, but I also know I have been getting the trigger time lately. Just food for thought.
  16. Welcome from next door in Massachusetts. Keep your receivers the same brand to avoid the biggest problems.
  17. Ok, got it no problem. ?. Reinstalled several times, closing bolt, cycling action to eject live rounds. All seems well. I guess I was overexcited when I got ready to shoot her. Breaking anvils in sand pits.
  18. First two are stagnant, last one is with charging handle retracted.
  19. Yeah, I’m not sure what happened. It’s in the basement taking a time out, lol. I want to talk with Tom before I start breaking shit. I’m already down three armorer wrench’s this year.
  20. Well I tried to shoot mine today with no results. I loaded the magazine and couldn’t close the bolt. Couldn’t then drop the mag. It’s in there, loaded, and is not coming out. It may stay that way till after AZ. Not much time between now and departure. Was bummed but my new glock 43 turned my frown upside down. Was very pleased with the accuracy and control of this lil pistol
  21. Makes me glad I have two CWS. Just in case
  22. Bring it to Az, I’ll get it done
  23. I have had no issues with my Armalite springs in an of my ar’s. The all have been built with them.
