  1. You're the first to ask here that I know of. Good luck, and please give us a complete rundown if you do. It will help those who want to follow in your footsteps.
  2. ? Why? He just posted 90 mins before you bumped it.....
  3. Welcome. I recommend that you go with AP ( no affiliation) because of the PSA issues with compatability. Also, to avoid confusion, only Armalite is AR10, everything else is a 308ar. The more read about parts you'll see why.
  4. So the tube is the same for the stock, your scope mount must match the scope tube (I.e. If the main body is 30mm, 1", 34mm, whatever... Pick the scope first and then match) didn't know they offered a wide but it's a great trigger either way, headspace isn't hard and Rainier will do it for you too if you mail them your bolt. I suggest Heavybuffers.com buffer and spring, great product, I run them in all my rifles. You will need a muzzle device and gas block. Otherwise I think your list is pretty complete.
  5. Armalite. Bam. Best parts kit out there for these beasts. Only thing (very slim chance) is you may have to file a small amount off the bolt catch to fit it in your receiver (unknown, don't know what parts you're using or if you'll even have to)
  6. Factory ammo, and run her wet
  7. Not going to happen. Not for an 800yd precision rig. A decent scope is around 2-2.5 lbs, figure at least a lb for a hunting capacity mag, 2+ for a full capacity mag. That's on top of a rifle with at least an 18" barrel plus a bipod for those distances. If weight is truly not a concern over and accuracy is, expect 14 kitted out. I'm 5'11", and can run a week of training with rifle and 45 lb chest rig with armor. It's all in your prep.
  8. No worries, got mine at Home Depot
  9. Nope, I used those ^^ locks and never let the keys out of my possession.
  10. If you don't have air guns and such Duracoat is a good option with their line of products. I used their shake and spray and it worked out great.
  11. Fuck those things Shepp! I use masterlock m50xd locks. I don't know why but copy and paste is not working on my phone. http://www.masterlock.com/personal-use/product/M50XD Nevermind. Here^^^^
  12. I have one, they are nice!
  13. Any particular reason?
  14. You can always paint one black...
  15. I have a couple too. I've run them hard, no issues. That said I still want some aimpoints, but that'll be upgrades. Primary Arms work fine for now.
  16. It is what it is. You don't want to be the guy who just says "fuck it". It won't end well.
  17. Mid will be fine. It is carbine gas that "may" cause those issues.
  18. LaRue used LW 50 barrels from them
  19. Nice, I had yesterday and today off. Payed for it in 12" more snow. And a championship.
  20. This must be epically bothering you, being up that early working on it....
  21. Sketch, that was the best game on TV all year, and not because of the outcome.
  22. When you are ready to engrave, send it to Orion Arms. Period.
  23. $65 a year,+ $25 to add the wife. 300 yds rifle. Skeet/trap, separate shotgun, black powder, rimfire, and 5 pistol outdoors. Plus an indoor pistol/rimfire.
  24. For the record, great game. I hate Chris Collinsworth.
