Reference Heavybuffers.com, he has a table to give you an idea on the sizes and weights. Typically you should be planning on this being a .308ar specific part. Btw, I use only his ^ buffers. In my 5.56 and .308 rifles, just good stuff!

I think to be realistic you need to give us a budget. I can tout all the laurels of my LaRue, but if you can't swing that kind of money, than I am wasting my time. (Not meant to insult) But... On the other hand, I could be telling you what you could do to improve a rifle you might be interested in, or giving you direction to help you start a build. I think you should contact Rainier about this, they are really good with customer service and stand behind their product, so if you have a bad one, I would assume they will take care of you. Have you headspaced it? I ask this without going back through the thread, thinking that if it's that you can send the back the barrel and maybe send your bolt too for them too headspace to a barrel

Jeb, when breaking in run it dripping wet, soaking wet, slip sliding wet. Also try to break it in with quality American made .308 ammo, no surplus. It will frustrate you more than its worth . As for your trigger, you may be disappointed, but if you decide it can't wait, I prefer the Gisselle trigger line. SSA for multiple purpose, SSA-E for strictly precision work. Guys, upon leaving my old job, the boys threw me a party, and an old friend was there. Long story short, his woodworking hobby is kicked up a notch, several actually! Welcome to the site. If you told me I had one upgrade to choose and that's it, it would be without a doubt a Gisselle trigger. SSA for a combat rifle, SSA-E for precision work. Period. But let's be real, there are a ton of things to do to it that make sense as well. Read up on them but: Heavy buffers.com buffer- takes off the sting of recoil Muzzle brake- quicker follow up shots Bad-ass/cass selector from Battle arms- inexpensive well made up grade for ambi safety control you can tailor to suit your preferences Those are minimum for me with every rifle, besides the trigger, which may be one of the single upgrades to increase accuracy. Like I said read up here and you can see many will advise similar thoughts on these products to really inhance your rifle.

I have told her that people will say things and do things to try to get an advantage, you have to either ignore it, or deal with it, and let your gameplay speak as your words. She got it by the second or third game. There is a difference in this between bullying and this, and while one is not acceptable, in sports at a level as high as this, I just don't feel bad.
