  1. Throughout all this, I think it was your original extractor. I keep meaning to come back to this thread, grab the pertinent posts, and talk about it. I always run out of time. I've never seen an extractor without a cutout for the rim - but your original one didn't have a cutout for the rim. That thing was actually angled UP where the cutout should have been. That "improved" extractor had the same cutout that every other one has. I wouldn't call that "improved" if it's a necessary part of a functioning rifle. I think they only changed the lug on top so they could tell the difference between a jacked up one, and a recent-production one. I'll grab pics one of these days and point out what I'm talking about. I think your original extractor was junk, and they missed a machining step. Doesn't matter what company it was from. My $0.02. Pics of that extractor earlier in this long thread would have helped identify that, but we didn't know that then. <dontknow>
  2. I've shot 150gr softpoints through mine, and they function just fine. Feeding a softpoint shouldn't be an issue for you. It shouldn't hang up.
  3. Where's greenmist - I'd like to hear his take on being allotted 238 rounds of 12ga. Per Year. That's not even enough for one range event, if you're training properly.

    Oh my!!!!

I'd take that Hi-Power, clean it (WELL!!!) and call it my own. That bastard wouldn't last long in the evidence room... <lmao> IT'S A HI-POWER FOR FUK'S SAKE!!!
  5. I'll second that one - you think you know everything, or at least that's the way you come off. PRIME example. PRIME. You don't even know what the fuk a barrel of oil is. You thought that $hit was a 55 gallon drum. You ARGUED that point, did your own math, and came up with some BP BullShitt in your converted gallons, based on your lack of knowledge and research. $hit man, if you don't KNOW how much is in a barrel of oil, then PLEASE look it up before you convert "what you think you know" into gallons, and make a post about it. Because the mis-informataion you're trying to spread here was GALLONS spilled. How's that for a fucking example?
  6. You sure pitched it as your opinion - you didn't quote $hit from anyone, mention anyone - just pitched it. Kiss my a$s - I'll read any thread on this board I want to, and just so you know - your "opinion" is pretty hard to get away from, when you're posting EVERYWHERE. Dude, you have more to say than any number of combined members on this board, and you push your agenda all over the place. Just tone your bullshitt down a little, and try to give people a chance to like you. Right now, people do not like you... Take that for what it's worth. Or not.
  7. Jon always satisfies his customers!... <lmao>
  8. 21,000 agents at the end of 2012, but there's a push for more (in 2013). Not sure if they got that through, but they were pushing for 40,000. 5,000,000 / 21,000 = about 238 per agent. Per year. 5,000,000 / 40,000 = 125 per agent. Per year.
  9. That common-sense one, where you show up to a place and annoy everyone. Looks like you're not even here to discuss anything rifle related, just spread your word... I believe that falls into the Troll category mentioned here:
  10. Hell, they don't have any problem qualifying at that distance with iron sights, brother... <thumbsup>
  11. Deflection, and mis-direction...
  12. YES!!! PICS OF THIS BEAST!!! I got the text-pic of the Lantac yesterday - you suck. You'll need that on that little rifle, brother. I think you shot mine with the Dynacomp on it already - but the damn thing would rattle your teeth with that stock POS that was on it. Adding something to the barrel end is damn near mandatory. That's one hell of a deal. Congrats on that, man, big time. If you ever need more poly mags, let me know - I'd be glad to work out an arrangement for a trade for the steels you have. (Don't get me wrong - I love the poly mags, and they function GREAT - I just want more steels for my 700 with the BAD-DBM. <thumbsup> ) Rob, at some point, you have to try a micro red-dot on that rifle - what an awesome combination!
  13. You just won't quit, will ya? Show me a picture of your semiautomatic 308 rifle.
  14. greenmist, this is primarily a 308 AR website, where people of common interest gather to discuss our rifles - and other things. All I ever see you do it bitch about politics, goverment, conspiracy-this and that... How about you post some pics of your rifle for once. I don't think you've ever done that here, at all. Do you even have a 308 AR, or are you just here to stir up $hit?...
  15. ^^^ Shib, you had to ruin it, brother - we had some of those die-hards already hunting for one! <lmao>
  16. Wash, looks like it's right here - 'bout 50 miles west of Midland/Odessa, just north of Pecos:
  17. But it sure does make a 5" 1911 balance well. Same thing with a 15-rd mag in a 4" XD45 - great balance. It's not about looks, and it's not the mag of choice to try to conceal, but you need to have one on you when you carry - if you end up having to use any ammo whilst carrying, you'll wish you had one of those on the first reload. When I carry the 4" or 5" Kimber, they have a CMC 8-rounder in them and one in the chamber. I have two CMC Power 10s with me. When I carry the XD45 (that's the daily pistol now), it's got the 13-rounder, one in the chamber, and two 15-rounders as spares. I have no idea how many 1911 mags I have, so I think that's something I need to count, now. I'll tackle that job in the next couple days. Most are CMCs, a few are Kimber mags, and a few more than a few are Wilson Combat mags. I'll figure it out. Mike is right again, too - Mec-Gar makes some great double-stack mags. I've never tried their single-stack mags, but have some of the doubles. Those were OEM for the Kimber BP Ten II, Para 45, and a few other manufacturers.
  18. It's only a matter of time before one you Glock Guys picks up one of these...
  19. HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! <lmao> Bastard. :fawkdance: Get it running already, so we can shoot it!
  20. THAT'S RIGHT!!! I'M ROLLING BACK PRICES TO 1965!!!
  21. As far as Dae Woo goes, they are far more than a car company. They are an industrial giant in South Korea, and they provide a hell of alot to their military in terms of equipment. I've spent a total of six years in Korea - while their cars suck, the $hit they provide their military isn't bad at all. I just hate to see them lumped in with the Chinese - and yes, you did lump them in with the Chinese. That's how Dae Woo entered into this conversation. <dontknow>
  22. Continuing on the theme - here are a couple of legitimate badasses in their own areas. If you've ever done any knife training, you already know Marcaida... <thumbsup> Watch the series - it's worth it.
  23. Received mine today - very high quality piece of kit. I'll get the side-by-side comparo up here Thursday. <thumbsup>
  24. Ah, $hit, he went native on us... <lmao>
