  1. I'd hate to see a transition to a military ROE for law enforcement - LE is too militarized as it is. We don't need to push them further into it. M $0.02. On another note - if LE uses a military ROE, we'd have alot of dead cops out there.
  2. When that bull$hit passed and became a law, I received a letter that stated my coverage surpassed and qualified for anything that was in that law. Therefore, I had to do... Nothing.
  3. After this one, just saying "Leland Yee" puts you on their watchlist... <lmao>
  4. I'm betting it was that Twin Cam 96...
  5. I think he and I would have to have a talk about this $hit!... <lmao>

    Here's a first

    Fuk that - Nobody likes a quitter... <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>
  7. I KNEW that was gonna rear it's ugly head from someone!... <lmao> I'm surprised it took as long as it did...
  8. That is one solid Battle-Rifle setup, right there. <thumbsup>
  9. It won't stop. Ever. :))
  10. Jon, of course! He's the one that brought this up! <lmao>
  11. Tacomas were a good example of 4WD IFS done decently. They were even better if you did a straight-axle conversion... Seriously, that was a hot thing to do - modern technology version of what Toyota left everyone with in the 1985 model. I need to start looking for a decent 1985 Toyota 4WD now...
  12. What projectile weight do you plan on shooting the most? That will determine twist rate.
  13. Former military, then?! If not, then you're on the training end of the stick, and it's a much different world when you're on the pointy end of the stick... Here's what they were facing. It's pretty safe to say they knew exactly what they were up against, considering his history. They were engaging him for 3 hours prior to the start of this video. http://www.koat.com/news/new-mexico/albuquerque/man-killed-in-foothills-officerinvolved-shooting-had-long-criminal-history/25098132
  14. Those comments were made because it's an indication that there's something not right going on here, with the subject of the video. Initial judgment being what it is - "Dang! That guy didn't even flich when that thing went off in front of him! There may be a reason for that!" Directly into the vid after that, they light him up with non-lethal, and he has very, very little reaction to that stuff. So, those reasons are why those comments were made. Those methods usually have a positive impact on the subject, and are ways to gain compliance in a non-compliant person. Usually.
  15. That's the way it should be. In the past, there were stories of people in those situations that were being charged with "brandishing." Which is bull$hit.
  16. Here's the link to that article & discussion on the back up sights, brother - some surprising info in here:
  17. Looks like that's the case, man - old one here in the pic. Most have the serial on the left side, but that must have changed to that at some point.
  18. Wait, wait - that's just for the mount/sight. The MSRP on that Surefire Mini Scout that's mounted in it is $369...
  19. Some marking has been removed. There's nothing there from the factory, so it would have been something added after purchase by someone, or some department.
  20. Yeah, but it went to IFS in 2002, if it's a half ton truck. The 3/4 ton and 1 ton still maintained a solid front axle.
  21. Those first-gen T100 trucks are tough, brother, very tough. <thumbsup>
  22. Yep, and that thing went off about 5 feet in front of him (if cam perspective is what it is). Should have had him staggering at least, or knocked him to his knees from the concussion and resulting imbalance. Dude didn't even move.
  23. Hey brother, at least the bench got some use! <thumbsup>
  24. Hell yeah, you do! <lmao>
  25. Saw that right away - didn't affect his balance in the least, and it should have rocked him pretty good from that distance. Gun-cam-guy is the one that put him down with the live ammo. Everyone else was on the less-lethal, and the guy didn't seem to be phased by that stuff. 3 rounds from gun-cam-guy dropped him immediately. He was done, right then.
