  1. That's a good range I posted - would be worth the drive. <thumbsup>
  2. IMHO, the safety selector is a very critical component. The money for a BADASS is definitely well worth every penny. <thumbsup>
  3. All parts received and built, now. Had a temporary set of receivers on there so we could shoot it. The Aero Precision Ghost Gun receivers came in. Everything got blasted, in prep for the paint, last Sunday. Waiting on the Cerakote to show up, but put it back together in the meantime. I hate having a firearm around, disassembled and unusable...
  4. I guess it doesn't stop at the trigger... :'(
  5. No need for it on a muzzle device, unless that muzzle device is a suppressor host. On a standard muzzle device, that's what the crush washer or peel washer is for.
  6. I have extensive experience with the ASG, brother - that was the first thing that crossed my mind, then JI. No kidding.
  7. I'm in.
  8. Brother, how far of a drive is it to get down to Zanesville? http://briarrabbit.com/
  9. Pay attention to what your sticking in anything... <dontknow>
  10. Go to your local Suzuki motorcycle dealer, and pick up some Suzuki green loctite. It's Suzuki 1303. Thats the schit they use for safety items, like footpeg bolts. Heat IS required for that schit. The Loc-Tite brand equivalent is 290. Other than that, the only other product I use is RockSett. RockSett is used on flash suppressors that are suppressor hosts. http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/general-gunsmith-tools/thread-locking-liquids/rocksett-prod54624.aspx As far as heating to remove small screws, that EASY. Stick the end of your cheapo soldering iron on the exposed tip of the screw for about 30 seconds, the loctite or RockSett isn't a problem. The screws can be removed easily.
  11. She needs that damn .460 S&W Magnum that blue brought out to the range! She wouldn't even have to hit anything - the damn concussion would knock that wolf out!
  12. When the stuff first came out in the news this morning, it was billed as "home invasion" stuff. I really like to see bad guys killed when they attempt a home invasion. These particular bad guys were tossing down a home invasion, but all over drugs, against other bad guys.
  13. ^^^ That's exactly what I thought would happen - with a supersonic round, you've got enough powder in that small case that you can't set the bullet back far enough to close the bolt. Which is necessary to render the firing pin in a position to contact the primer.
  14. You just need your AZ friends here, with all their available land,... and freedom. <thumbsup> Come on out, my brothers.
  15. $hit, brother - last year at Thanksgiving... That was the 10th year in a row for me and DNP to celebrate T-day together out there in the sand. We won't stop anytime soon... <thumbsup> He's been going out there since he was 3, or something. DNP is a true Desert Rat, man! :hethan:
  16. ^^^ <lmao> <laughs>
  17. You are SUCH a hooker... <lmao>
  18. I think I have 5 or 6 of them. I have ONE of the Aimpoint M3-clone sights, and it's on my son's rifle. That thing is tough. All the rest are the micro-red dot flavors. They say MD-06 now, but I have different numbers/models of them through the years. I'll dig them out of the safe and list them all, but they're all the same basic style, micro-red dot. The little fuckers are tough. The one on the Ruger GSR is my testament - that thing has to eat alot - ALOT - of recoil, and it still keeps going. I've got a Bushnell TRS-25 on something. It literally is the same damn thing as the Primary Arms sights, just with a different angle on the on/off/brightness knob.
  19. The strain that this WILL impart on the US market is clear, when you look at it. You have a Euro powder supplier down, for who knows how long... They need to stay in business, so during the rebuild/reconstruction, they WILL buy comparale powders from somewhere... Which could be the US powder market. Money talks. When you're in danger of losing your company due to lost revenue, you WILL spend ALOT of money to stay in the game. US markets WILL NOT IGNORE that money. So, to think this is something going on in Eupore and doesn't affect us - it very well could affect us. It all depends on the money level we're talking about here...
  20. Ironically, Rob might NOT be such a dickhead. Subliminal messaging worked. Dawn Marie made me a surprise St Patty's Day dinner of Corned Beef & Cabbage, and it was ready when I got home!!! Complete with Guinness!!! No kidding, that $hit really happened! :hethan:

  22. In some of that stuff, you can get over 50. Most "rapid blasts" are up to 40. There are times that you'll be beyond that, but it's not common. Those flats, in 5th flat-out are some of those times. I can rarely get the thing to hold in the powerband in 6th, unless it's a long, flat section. That's on the 2-stroke. The 4-strokes, you can jam those bastards up into 5th and just pin it on straights, and it'll keep pulling and pulling. Some 4-strokes will hold 4th on the hill, but many need to downshift to 3rd. Those YFZ-450s will do it. One of these trips, I'll get up to China Wall again, and get some vids from up there - that damn thing is SO steep...
  23. Another interview later this week. Passed one tonight... I think?
