  1. I really think, in about 15 minutes, I could get him to BEG to go back to his country. I believe that. Waterboarding is the answer. It's MY answer, anyway, and I want to hit him with it. I bet I win. <dontknow> <thumbsup> Gimme Piers, 15 minutes, a hand towel, and a 6 gallon jug. <munch>
  2. Doesn't matter where your nose is - where is your firing elbow? Where is your firing arm? Why is your firing arm where it is, when you fire? Is it from necessity (wearing body armor, must protect arms and keep them in)?... Another thing - why do you need a JP Enhanced bolt? What is your bolt not doing, that you need it to do, and that the JP does? save the money, and buy ammo.
  3. Yeah, that pic hit the phone. My phone locked up. :o Don't taunt Rob, people, I'm just sayin' that now. You WILL pay for it - what is seen can't be unseen. He sent me the Thighgina. Yes, pronounce that in your head. Thigh-gina. Purple lips and all. Don't mess with him. You've been warned, and I am scarred...
  4. Brownell's doesn't make a buffer - but they sell alot of them. It would be more beneficial if you searched out the brand of buffer you bought from Brownell's, and posted that info. <thumbsup>
  5. You need to consider the intent of the BCM grips, first. Modern military weapons handling, moving rapidly, and more important than not - arms in close to the sides, to they don't get shot. Moving your arms in close to your sides changes your grip angle. This grip benefits that. Are you doing that?... Do you need that?... There are lots of option out there, but you need to determine what you need, in order to determine what you need to buy.
  6. Ah poop :o Careful what you ask for... :bitchslap:
  7. ^^^ I knew that one would make an appearance... <lmao>
  8. Mike, they do the 2" rail section, and a 4" rail section. Do you ever run a bipod? If you do, you might want to pick up another 2" section. I have a QD bipod mount on my SPR, and it would easily fit on a 2" section, so I see no need for a 4-incher. The only thing the 4" will give you is more fore and aft adjustment area. As long as things are pretty set, and you know where you want 'em, the 2" is very suitable. <thumbsup>
  9. I'm not the one after the dark wood, here... <dontknow> <lmao>
  10. Magwa is great people - but I need to know where we stand on the special pics. <dontknow> <laughs>
  11. I'll leave that one alone... <lmao> ;D
  12. I knew I didn't want to open this thread... <dontknow> You need some help shooting your stuff, brother. Notice, I didn't phrase that as a question. I'm here, pick me. <laughs> <thumbsup>
  13. And a Merry Christmas to you, too, brother Mike! <thumbsup> We need one of these: That's the 2" rail piece, from Apex, that mounts directly to their rail. It'll go on either side, or the bottom, so you can put it anywhere you want, fore, aft, middle, any side, etc. http://www.apexhandguard.com/store.php?seller=ApexMachiningCompany&navt1=19974&navt2=86324&pd=167795#images Once you have that, you have freedom. Now, for mounts, we can go crazy. You can do a traditional sling with swivels, and mount up a pic-adaptor sling swivel stud, or you can start changing things up. Depending on what you need out of a sling, you can switch up to a different sling, with different capabilities, and different mounts. I can get WAY into this, brother. <thumbsup> Here's a pic-mount sling swivel: Here's just the stud: If you change up ends on your sling, here's a QD socket mount: If you want an adaptation of that, here's one at 45 degrees: Let's talk about slings, brother - what are you running, and do you need it to do more?
  14. That's what you get for showing up here in the first place - you can't say we didn't warn ya! <lmao>

    Arizona Guys!!!

Our flags for the weekend - both historical, and used as wind markers. They were howling...
  16. poop like this is why I'm against firearms registration. It's also why I'm against states that require registration. I will never live in one of them again.
  17. Brother, we have options here. Mount a piece of picatinny rail on the handguard, and your sling mount adaptor options are almost endless. <thumbsup> Did that Apex come with the short pieces of pic rail?
  18. I would OWN that newspaper in very short order. I'd go in the doors as soon as the lawsuit was final, and I owned it. I'd be a complete dickhead in a company speech, make everyone go outside and face the building. I'd burn it down, then fire everyone. At that point, I'd wash my hands of the total piece of garbage that they had become.
  19. I always liked the Apex rails, but after shooting Rob's, I know I really need to get one. The damn things are awesome. <thumbsup>
  20. I' ve got 15, and wouldn't part with a single one of them. Brass is the currency of the future, and these things are the wallet to carry it. <thumbsup>
  21. Hell with that - I want to waterboard him. <thumbsup>
  22. I'm with you, wash <thumbsup> - I have a gallon of egg nog and a bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, and I'll go through it tonight. Watch out, out there on the board... <lmao> Merry Christmas, you Merry Band of Bastages... :ecs:
  23. And the upper receiver, in full integrity, is what adds all the support to the barrel extension... A different rail system would have alleviated any cutting of the upper at all. A different combination would have eliminated all that cutting, and if the side-cocking upper was definitely a "must have," then a different rail would be in order. That was the point I was trying to make. I'd hate to see someone read this thread, down to the point where you said you got a poop-product from Fulton Armory. Clint McKee doesn't put out a poop product, ever. <dontknow>
  24. ...And we had the "Powder Alarms." By the third time they went out to try to seize the powder and ball, we had learned - and they were shocked at the outcome. <thumbsup>
  25. Hypocrisy on several counts - ** Firearms in schools ** Armed security in schools ** Carrying firearms in DC ** All the trash talk from many media personalities, saying this is an unneccessary step for the country to take - when they have their own kids in this same school... It's not likely that they forgot where their own kids go to school, when they're running their mouth on their news program...
