  1. Come hell or high water, I'll make the May shoot, Jon. <thumbsup> Awesome results, you two!
  2. I need to pull every cheap shot I can think of to get you to come out here and visit me... <dontknow> <lmao> Greg!!!! That video is DAMN awesome!!! :happydrunks:
  3. <lmao> And this ain't snow, brother... <laughs>
  4. You were looking at my ass, weren't ya, Drew?... <dontknow> <lmao>
  5. Bah! This is my dream "car," brother, and it's all mine... ;D
  6. Did Pete Brownell lose track of the Bushnell Holosight, somehow? That was the first co-branding from EOTech.
  7. Not even anything "revolutionary" about it, or cutting edge - it's another piston gun from a big name. Huge name. Definitely not worth almost $2.2k for an upper, unless they're sending me my own H&K Reloading Midget, straight from the factory, with the upper. <dontknow>
  8. That's exactly what has me thinking it's the 6.5 Swede. <thumbsup>
  9. Meant to say AR-15, not AR-5 - fixed that in the previous post. Anyway, there can be feed problems in AR-15s, when you start mixing upper receivers and barrels that both have M4 feedramps, and don't. You said your rounds are catching in that specific area. First I've heard of it on a .308 AR, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened before - I just haven't seen it yet, until now. Here's a pic of the problems with the AR-15 combinations (below) - I'd look at your feedramps, and the area where the barrel extension meets the upper receiver. If your rounds were catching there and causing Failures to Feed, then it's an issue.
  10. With an overall loaded length of 3.150" on the 6.5 Swede, and an overall of 2.800" on the .260 Rem, I'd say this is definitely a 6.5 Swede that the OP has posted. Pics below are the OPs pic, the 6.5 Swede, then a .260 Rem.
  11. Those feed ramps need work - I don't know what to think of those things. This is usually an AR-15 problem, not a .308 AR problem. Just don't know, man. <dontknow>
  12. I think that one IS a 6.5 Swede. Not a handload, but a real 6.5 Swede round.
  13. That's fast, coming from RRA. Even their own caution on shipping times is "7 to 10 business days" from order receipt. Ya done good, or got lucky... <laughs> <thumbsup>
  14. This topic has been moved to Building a .308AR. [iurl]http://308ar.com/forum/index.php?topic=2777.0[/iurl]
  15. The real ones are made by Grip Pod Systems, LLC (G.P.S., LLC). Watch out for fakes, because they're all over. http://www.grippod.com/
  16. Completely normal. <thumbsup>
  17. Info straight from Armalite - this info can be VERY helpful in other .308 AR builds, also:
  18. You should see the emails I get from Drew, when I get all technical... :o <lmao>
  19. Just a heads-up - don't tighten those two pinch bolts too tight. Pay attention to the torque specs that they say to adhere to. If not... CRACK! :o
  20. That's even his own words, as quoted and used by Robocop... <lmao> Lesson 65b, if I recall correctly... <laughs>
  21. poop man, we called that here as soon as the news of Gun Walker broke. Not kidding. This stuff is easy to see, of you're a firearms enthusiast - it's REALLY HARD to see if you're one of the Sheeple that just follow along with what's broadcast in the news media. Those people can't make the connection. This was a current-administration plan from the get-go - it doesn't take a tin-foil hat to see that, just some insight into this industry. The American public was set-up, and most of them STILL can't understand that... <dontknow>
  22. That's it. I'm taking Greg. <dontknow> ;D
  23. My stubbornness knows no bounds - I'll try to get this taught in your living room. :o <lmao>
  24. You're pretty tough to bargain with. You're testing my resolve. <laughs>
  25. Why could you not reload for that rifle? What didn't work? No reason it shouldn't have worked - many reload for that platform.
