  1. Main pics of the people - you'll notice 3 people shooting in the pics. That's me, Matt, and Jim Olsen. Jim is one awesome guy, and Matt's first customer when Matt moved here to AZ. Jim is damn good people, all the way.
  2. Here's the link to the official results of this one: https://practiscore.com/results/html/fbfd3d65-5e4e-4490-8f1b-34bc910a630e Out of 44 possible hits, @JBMatt cleaned the fucking course with 44 hits. I came in there with 35 hits total. Not too bad - unless you're comparing me to that jackass... If you care to peruse the results to your heart's content, you'll notice that 2 of our former colleagues did quite shiitty.
  3. Pic time - we always start on Stage 4, then 5, 1, 2, 3... Keep that in mind, per stage instructions, versus pics you see. All pics courtesy of Kimmy!
  4. Here's the stages we had to shoot - of note, from the very beginning, they've always told us that there's a target out there that we could be shooting, at 710 yards. Longest we've shot, since last May, when we started doing this, was 660 yards - prior to this one. Well, this month, they brought out a 715 yard target!!! Here's Stg 1 through Stg 5, what we got emailed on Friday night... click each one 3 times, and they get big enough to read the stage inctructions, and really see what's going on...
  5. I wouldn't want him to be handicapped by shooting MOA - I have to look out for him...
  6. I'm working on the big write-up and pics right now, been a BUSY weekend... I'll post it all up, just like always, and it was a fukkin' GREAT MATCH this month! First and foremost, I have to give a 'UGE (Donald Trump Voice) Shoutout to @JBMatt - he cleaned THE WHOLE FUCKING COURSE THIS MONTH, and came in 3rd Place - combined, amongst ALL categories - Overall. HE CRUSHED IT!!! Matt, very, very well done, brother. You were "more on fire" than normal... If that were even a thing... Beers, to you, my friend. What you did last weekend was beyond impressive. You slayed Dragons. Fuckin' GREAT job. You a$shole.
  7. I just want him to be successful...
  8. What they said.
  9. Nice job, man!!!
  10. PLEASE tell me you bought the mil version...
  11. I'd be curious if it runs like that, with s standard gas block. I've had a few barrels shock me with their gas ports in the past - that KAK 12.5" midlength gas barrel shocked me, for sure. The Wilson .338 Fed barrel shocked me, too. Oh, by the way brother - we hit the mid 90's over this weekend. It's too early for that shiit, I'll tell ya.
  12. An adjustable block certainly won't hurt, on that setup. That's not alot of barrel length, a super-short dwell time, and the port is 'Uge. Might be interesting to run it once or twice wide open and see what happens.
  13. ^^^ This will be the best bet.
  14. Breaking News: ATF Announces Action on Forced Reset Triggers Recoil Staff March 24, 2022 ATF Announces Action on Forced Reset Triggers | RECOIL (recoilweb.com) In an open letter emailed to FFL holders across the United States on March 24, 2022, the BATFE addresses Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs). < 1/2 The text follows (emphasis added by the BATFE): The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) recently examined devices commonly known as “forced reset triggers” (FRTs) and has determined that some of them are “firearms” and “machineguns” as defined in the National Firearms Act (NFA), and “machineguns” as defined in the Gun Control Act (GCA). These particular FRTs are being marketed as replacement triggers for AR-type firearms. Unlike traditional triggers and binary triggers (sometimes referred to generally as “FRTs”), the subject FRTs do not require shooters to pull and then subsequently release the trigger to fire a second shot. Instead, these FRTs utilize the firing cycle to eliminate the need for the shooter to release the trigger before a second shot is fired. By contrast, some after-market triggers have similar components but also incorporate a disconnector or similar feature to ensure that the trigger must be released before a second shot may be fired and may not be machineguns. Both the NFA and GCA regulate machineguns. “Machinegun” is defined under 26 U.S.C. § 5845(b) and 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(23) as— Any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger. The term shall also include the frame or receiver of any such weapon, any part designed and intended solely and exclusively, or combination of parts designed and intended, for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun, and any combination of parts from which a machinegun can be assembled if such parts are in the possession or under the control of a person. (Emphasis added.) ATF’s examination found that some FRT devices allow a firearm to automatically expel more than one shot with a single, continuous pull of the trigger. For this reason, ATF has concluded that FRTs that function in this way are a combination of parts designed and intended for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun, and hence, ATF has classified these devices as a “machinegun” as defined by the NFA and GCA. Accordingly, ATF’s position is that any FRT that allows a firearm to automatically expel more than one shot with a single, continuous pull of the trigger is a “machinegun”, and is accordingly subject to the GCA prohibitions regarding the possession, transfer, and transport of machineguns under 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(o) and 922(a)(4). They are also subject to registration, transfer, taxation, and possession restrictions under the NFA. See 26 U.S.C. §§ 5841, 5861; 27 CFR 479.101. Under 26 U.S.C. § 5871, any person who violates or fails to comply with the provisions of the NFA may be fined up to $10,000 per violation and is subject to imprisonment for a term of up to ten years. Further, pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 5872, any machinegun possessed or transferred in violation of the NFA is subject to seizure and forfeiture. Under 18 U.S.C. § 924(a)(2), any person who violates § 922(o) may be sent to prison for up to 10 years and fined up to $250,000 per person or $500,000 per organization. Based on ATF’s determination that the FRTs that function as described above are “machineguns” under the NFA and GCA, ATF intends to take appropriate remedial action with respect to sellers and possessors of these devices. Current possessors of these devices are encouraged to contact ATF for further guidance on how they may divest possession. If you are uncertain whether the device you possess is a machinegun as defined by the GCA and NFA, please contact your local ATF Field Office. You may consult the local ATF Office’s webpage for office contact information.
  15. Decided to check it out - still had $7 shipping. Have 6 on the way, though, just to test it out.
  16. At least...
  17. Gotta keep those thick covers on there - keep those heathens away from it.
  18. Same base diameter on both. Don't have to cut the .45 ACP down at all, though. Worked like a champ, too.
  19. You see Kimmy in the moonlight pic? I didn't catch this before, and it skeered me. I wake up in the middle of the night with her looking at me, like this, and it freaks me out...
  20. Minimum on your gas port diameter, for the barrel config that you have, is gonna be 0.080". Minimum. Have you measured your gas port diameter yet? If you have, and you've posted it, I missed it - had a pretty busy weekend last weekend, so my apologies in advance. This is the barrel that you have, and they - for some reason - do not state the gas block journal size in this page: https://www.odinworks.com/6-5mm-Creedmoor-Barrel-p/b-6.5cm-22-2r-tg.htm It is Rifle Gas +2", directly stated. If I look on that page for their "upgrades" - they include a lo-pro gasblock, and that's listed at 0.750 diameter. Please verify that your gas block journal size is 0.750".
  21. ^^^ This right here is exactly what I'm talking about. It that receiver extension is truly 7 3/4" internal depth, it's out of spec. It should be 7 5/8" internal depth. What's an 1/8"? 0.125". What's the thickness of a quarter? 0.069". If that extension is truly 7 3/4" deep, then stick 2 quarters down the back of it before you put in the spring and buffer. That's as close to "right" as you can make it, that way.
  22. That's directly backwards. Why are you doing this?
  23. ^^^ That's gonna be the way I go out - with YOU a$sholes...
