  1. I just built a 16" precision gun from a barrel that Ballistic Advantage put on sale. Bought the barrel. Only other things I had to buy were the grip, buttstock, LaRue trigger, and a handguard. I had grips in a pile - but that's my "I don't like these things" pile. Bought the one I wanted instead. Oh, I need a specific red dot for this one, too. I'll have to get that still. Spare parts RULE!
  2. I can buy .338 Lapua Magnum match-loaded 285gr ammo for about $120 a box. OF TWENTY ROUNDS. That's $6 per round. I can load that for about $2.50 a round. Not long ago, I was loading that for $1.90 a round -but "these times" happened. Does it save money? Definitely. For range-blasting ammo, I was buying PMC Bronze 5.56 55gr ammo for $250 shipped, case of 1k rounds, to my house, in 2012. 25 cents each, and it used to cost me about 27 cents to load one of those. No-brainer. Ship it to me cheaper than I can load it, and I don't have to work? Done. What's that 1k case of PMC Bronze 55gr cost now? About $600 (or north of that), if you can even find a full case to buy... Reloading saves you money. Period. Especially for precision ammo. Sometimes even on bulk ammo (considering today's prices). My $0.02...
  3. No experience with that one, but where I'm going soon is to the Sionyx Aurora setup. https://www.sionyx.com/pages/surveillance?gclid=CjwKCAjwk6-LBhBZEiwAOUUDpwbzvopEg-_KoiZr_pWlLBt7K9dag80AWZhpklElA-hj2czr6BuHZhoCc40QAvD_BwE
  4. @DJ619, you have no idea how happy this makes me. Truly.
  5. I think I banged her. I still have the scars. Nails like talons, and a VERY bad attitude. Fun at first, before I had to apply a tourniquet - ON MYSELF... Chalked that one up to "learning experience" and got away whilst I still could.
  6. Pay close attention to this one. Listen to it.
  7. ...better be running either the Sprinco Red spring, or the Armalite EA1095, in that bitch. I'm juust sayin'... Trust me, doubt me - better change that recoil spring to one of those two I just told you about. My $0.03 on it - this one gets the extra penny... We'll see how this shakes out in about a month from now, I know that...
  8. Bullshiit. We've been doing that for years now... I'm just sayin'...
  9. I'm here for you homie...
  10. Shiit, I didn't even think about that. Can we get 5 buys together for the people coming to the Fall Shoot? I'll get 5 coming if we have 5 buyers... Pay for them when you get to the Casa De Pain...
  11. I see what you're doing here, but I'm ahead of you... LaRue Tactical Fri 10/15/2021 7:33 PM Order #996149 Created: 10-15-2021 Got 3 of those fuckers coming now, Doc... One will make it to you, in a month, I'm sure... LaRue Tactical MBT-2S Trigger 1 @ $99 ea. 3 @ $89 ea. 5 @ $79 ea. It’s OctobARfest and Black Friday ... ‘cause I said so. I’m launching a little early this year to let y’all get a jump on the looming Christmas freight / delivery bottleneck. Thanks to over 200,000 of y’all, our MBT triggers have become our annual tobacco crop. The trigger shop folks steadily build triggers all year long, handing them off / piling them up, for the November tobacco auction aka Black Friday Sale. Week 1 of our LaRue OctobARfest is The MBT - Massively Big Trigger sale ! We’ve got thousands made and ready for y’all to upgrade a few of the millions of ARs that came from the factory with those nasty, atrocious triggers in ‘em. Buy yourself 1 for $99, or get 3 or more for just $89 each, 5 or more for $79. each. Thanks for helping put us on the map - the Dead Center of Texas. Aim small, hit small, Mark LaRue
  12. You Hoarder!!!
  13. Happy belated birthday, fucker! I forgot to post this yesterday!!! @Rsquared, hope it was a good day, brother.
  14. That's what I do most of the time, unless I'm aiming to rile him up or jerk his chain... I'd swear he's my dad, somehow...
  15. So, instead of building the MOA cant into the base, they built it into the rings?...
  16. Loaded ammo is ridiculous. Because. Now here's the Because. New people. New gun owners. They're everywhere. They never owned a gun -and DIDN'T WANT TO OWN A GUN - but 2020 happened. Riots, lawlessness, fuktards pelting Portland Police with rocks, bricks, fireworks, concrete milkshake cups and molitov cocktails for more than 100 days straight. Everything blew up in Kenosha, WI, Kyle had to shoot some bad fuckers in his own defense - and it's all OVER the news. And here we are - the guys that have always been doing this. We can't find ammo, we can't find th gun we decided we want, now. Powder is gone, primers are SCARCE... Fucking new people started it. Those people that were on their INstagram and FB before condemning gun owners. Yeah - them. They bought guns now, because they're fucking skeered... Defund police and all that bulllshiit... They bought guns LIKE MAD last year, and it's even worse this year. THey're grabbling every single Ruger Wrangler that they can find. And, they all want ammo. They want apocalypse ammo levels, and they want it NOW. That's it, in a nutshell, if you've been watching this industry. I watched it all play out, over the last 1.5 years. Warned everyone here, too. THE NEW FREAKS that only wanted a Ruger Security-9 also wanted an entire PALLET of 9mm to go with it. They didn't get their pallet, but they bought all that they could. For them, it's their "end of days..." They're skeered shiitless. And, they can't even take their gun apart to clean it, much less hit a pistol target at 15 yards. Here we are. Loaded ammo is through the fucking roof - because all those new fuckers are Snipers, too, and have 6.5 Creedmoor boltguns, for the coming WWIII... and can't even sight in their NightForce scopes that they bought... and that panicked all the reloaders. It's hoarding everywhere. EVERYWHERE. No need for applause, for breaking this down. It was obvious. I just broke it down. I watch it and track it every single day. Send donations to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation instead. https://specialops.org/
  17. Again, the OP hasn't been here for 3 years. However, LaRue ring caps are like that, but they're mirror-images of each other - so it wouldn't matter which one you put on the left, or the right. Anybody making something that is specifically left and right, and can only be that way - that's a pretty fucking stupid design. My Humble Opinion. Love it or leave it.
  18. Depends on the gun. What gun are you shooting?
  19. Floating firing pins will often dent softer primers, just by chambering the round. I've never seen a slamfire from that, ever, in the AR platform, and that goes back to 1985.
  20. Patron Silver works. That's actually a "sipper tequila" right there. You bring Patron Silver, then I'll find someone in camp to give you a blowjob.
  21. Bring some Cuervo Silver, or you don't get your brass, fucker!...
  22. WORKS. In that platform. And it's legit. As fuk.
  23. You seen the CMMG Banshee mag conversions, brother? They're legit as fuk - to run on that platform of theirs. Legit as fuk. Rob will hate me for this, I know. It's a sword worth falling on. That shiit works, like a champ. Hate to say it, to support them, but those things run. Forever.
  24. No, that shiit works. If you're talking about the CMMG delayed-bolt - those things fucking RUN, brother. You must me confused about what I'm talking about here. I hate CMMG, not like Rob does - but the Banshee pattern RUNS....
