Another example from 27 Oct 20, this year...
-
I never will, no matter if they had the very last thing in stock that I'd need. Never.
-
This was from 17 March this year, right when the COVID shiit was ramping up... Not to mention what those miserable fukheads did after Sandy Hook, 2012. Shiitbag company dropped from my radar after that. Those cocksuckers.
-
This is fucking AMAZING news!!! Someone finally bites back against those assheads, and it happens to be Tejas?!!? Even more incredible!!! Put those corksuckers right in their place, and knock their balls back a little bit. Someone needed to do it, and I'm damn glad it was Texas that did it. Kick that ass back into the stone age, and make them realize who they really serve, here. SMACK DOWN!!!... FUK CTD, Right on the neck!
-
I'll agree with you guys - that is ONE WRINKLED PU$$Y RIGHT THERE!!!...
-
This one must be older...
-
This thread right here, in response to a recent discussion - just went into Legend/Epic Status. All at once. Takes on a whole new light now, doesn't it?... I fuckin' warned you all, too. Repeatedly. Took all the punches, all the comments... Defended my fucking stump, as hard as I could. Call me clairvoyant, call me Nostradamus. Hell, just call me a Prophet - but I fuckin' warned you all about this shiit, 2.5 years ago. In hindsight, just call me an Intel Analyst - that's what I'm best at. You're welcome.
-
You did stellar, with what you have now, brother. That thing shoots lights-out.
-
You got that right, brother. I can't believe that they didn't make a run of the Grendel barrels, and have them on the website. If they're gonna make one, right?... Run a batch of them. Can't find them available on the website. Or, maybe it took some dude ordering ANOTHER Grendel UU Kit last month, and they hit their minimum order of 10 dudes that want the Grendel, so they ran it... And he'd get his in a month... Just speculating. Just glad it's on the way now. That was almost as bad as @Matt.Cross waiting for a Lothar-Walther barrel.
-
^^^ Yep, you got the email today, too. That one is gonna be tougher to paint, but I could figure it out.
-
No need to make a phonecall tomorrow, December 17th. I'm betting that guy felt a disturbance in the Force. Got tracking notification today. Today marks the end of 6 months, right on the nose. Tomorrow would have started month 7. Shipped today, gets delivered to my work Monday, 21 Dec. Merry Christmas to me, I guess. Damn near almost too cold to paint it now, but I'll try, while it's all still apart. I need 70 or better for the temp. The Cerakote that I got for this gun is now 6months old... This might not work out well, but I'm gonna try it anyway.

Everyone, distributors included, have been paying higher prices to get things in stock. It's just coming full-circle. Manufacturers are spacing out workers to "comply with COVID" - so they have less floor space to get their jobs done. In turn, to counteract that, they're running more shifts, many companies running 24 hours a day now. JUST to make the same output... For real. 3 times the work, just to put out the same product that they WERE doing in an 8-hour shift. And, that costs money, to them. All prices are up now, and it's not necessarily "gouging" - unless you're looking at some Cheaper Than Dirt BS. Fuk CTD, in the neck. Forever. Prices are up, because labor is up - because you have to physically space out labor and run extra shifts now, just to keep up with NORMAL demand. THEN, you have all the new gun buyers that never had a gun before, and want EVERYTHING.... Blame COVID, Blame Never-Gun Owners (until now, that they realize they NEED it), and Blame Sheep for it. Cowards are running The Business Mandates/Rules now... New Gun Owners are demanding a supply that this industry never could have kept up with, normally... Keep in mind - for the past 4 years, gun prices have been DOWN... Because SO MANY COMPANIES went all in, went huge on extended credit lines, and bought everything that they could - before the 2016 election. You know, when Hittlery was gonna be Prez, and BAN everything. Big companies and distributors went HUGE in credit lines, toget all they could before that election - so they could Cash Out afterwards with all their newly-acquired "Pre-Ban" goods... And she DIDN'T win. Then, they're stuck making monthly balloon payments on that huge credit line that they took - with all that inventory out-the-ass that they have... and WE, as gun builders, have $40 stripped lower receivers... Know why? "Sell THIS ITEM off this month at a huge loss, just so we can make the payment at the end of this month - I hope we make it..." We we lucky for 4 years - because big companies made the wrong bet in 2016, brother. WE reaped the benefits of their HUGE extended credit, monthly payments... Bigger Picture, man - you always have to look at the Bigger Picture. If you don't or can't - then you're always stuck in the weeds, looking at what's 10 feet out.
-
Pure Freedom, right there, brother! Hell Yeah!
-
I'm just glad that I have 3 P80s that were only bought as the receiver, only. Two of them shoot GREAT, and I built them all up from selecting my own parts from other places/sources. The 3rd one is a finished lower, and I've never gotten around to building the slide for it yet. But, I will.

From GAT Daily a couple days ago: https://gatdaily.com/breaking-atf-raids-polymer80/ BREAKING: ATF Raids Polymer80 By Keith Finch - December 11, 2020 Ghost-Gun Company Raided by Federal Agents The headline at The Wall Street Journal posted about two hours ago says much. Probably the most well known manufacturer of DIY 80% parts was raided by the ATF. Of course, WSJ makes a point to keep using the fearmongering buzzword “Ghost Gun” but theatric semantics aside this was a fight that was probably going to land eventually. For anyone who has been social distancing since long before 2020, “Poly80’s” are frames that can be finished with some hand work and a jig into complete frame and then install standardized firearm parts within, Glock being the most popular. 80% AR-15’s are also in circulation but since Polymers are easier to work with than aluminum and handguns are more popular than rifles, the P80 kits are the hottest product in the category. WSJ says, Federal agents on Thursday raided one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of ghost-gun parts, a sign that federal law enforcement is cracking down on kits that allow people to make weapons at home. The raid target, Nevada-based Polymer80, is suspected of illegally manufacturing and distributing firearms, failing to pay taxes, shipping guns across state lines and failing to conduct background investigations, according to an application for a search warrant unsealed Thursday after the raid took place. The probe focuses on Polymer80’s “Buy Build Shoot Kit,” which includes the parts to build a “ghost” handgun. The kit, which Polymer80 sells online, meets the definition of a firearm, ATF investigators determined according to the warrant application. That means it would have to be stamped with a serial number and couldn’t be sold to consumers who haven’t first passed a background check. So now, after all this time on the market, the P80 BBS kit is a firearm. Despite the fact that it isn’t, by ATF’s own rules it isn’t. It cannot be readily assembled into a firearm upon arrival, the frame has to be finished with tools by the purchaser. Building a personal firearm without serializing it is legal. Just because someone found a way to engineer this into an easy industry doesn’t make it against the law. But, here is my guess. Polymer80’s, like SB Braces, are deliberately engineered solutions that take advantage of federal laws and definitions as they stand. It isn’t the fault of the consumer or manufacturer that the law is poorly written, devices are poorly defined, or that arbitrary rules can be engineered within to deliver the product someone wants. What I find most interesting is the target of the probe. Always consider the target, just like the Honey Badger case. The Polymer80 Buy Build Shoot Kit is not the only variation on the theme the Poly80 makes. But it is the most complete, even coming with the bits needed to complete the tool work on the P80 frame to assemble. I believe it is this completeness, that everything is provided in single kit, that is being measured against the “80%” definition by the ATF to say that these are firearms. Will that hold up in court? We will see. Engineers using rules in ways the rule makers didn’t anticipate, so the rule enforcers who didn’t make the rules have to bend them and come up with creative coverages, so that the engineers who followed the rules have to change their gizmo to fit the new meaning of the old rule… Tedious. But not unexpected, this was a fight that was coming to a courtroom sooner or later. Whether it was because federally something shifted and a law got passed or the more likely scenario we are currently seeing. The ATF saying an unfinished frame without a serial number is a firearm when before it was not and they are demanding serial numbers and back taxes. We will keep you updated as we know more. Most noteworthy, no charges have been filed yet, making this almost certain a battle of definitions.

Pacnor barrels burned down
98Z5V replied to Armed Eye Doc's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
Pac-Nor is back up and running, brothers. Looks like they fired back up in October this year - but 2020 SUCKS and nobody here knew. https://www.currypilot.com/news/pac-nor-barreling-back-in-business/article_8662f30c-0417-11eb-9171-4ba2a474932c.html Here's their website: https://pac-nor.com/ -
The most pathetic marketing ever comes from a reputable brand
98Z5V replied to beachmaster's topic in General Discussion
Revisiting this thread, I thought I'd add some information. Back in the day, there was a place called Stubborn Mule Outdoor Supply. Sounds innocent, right? SMOS made all of the Noveske receivers. Period. All of them. Back in the day. Well, there's something else about SMOS - they made all of the LaRue receivers, too, before LaRue starting machining their own. Yeah, for real. SMOS was/is no small rinky-dink place - they made the receivers for two companies that have the highest/tightest tolerances in the marketplace. Way back in the day, I almost pulled the trigger on one of the SMOS-branded lowers (SMOS Arms, then) that they offered, that were identical to the LaRue lowers - and LaRue wasn't selling lower receivers then. Only way to get one from LaRue was buy a full gun - back then. Decided I'd wait to the next paycheck - and they were gone from the SMOS website then. FML.. There's a storyline behind what SMOS makes and sells now - and you better believe that what they market now, is VERY high quality parts. https://www.stubbornmule.com/ https://www.firearms4less.com/35_smos-stubborn-mule-outdoor-supply -
Old-time quote here, and I can't resist. The guys that were there will get this one... Especially @sketch "DON'T WASTE IT - SPIT IT IN MY MOUTH!!!"

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2
98Z5V replied to imschur's topic in General Discussion
Been telling you guys - they make some VERY FINE AR barrels, and nothing they send out is less than a "match" barrel. They're badass, and they RULE the "weird calibers" all the way. Getting ready to pull the order-button on their .358 Win barrel. -
Keep an eye on these two places: https://www.armorally.com/product-category/ar-parts/ar15/ https://www.schuylerarmsco.com/manufacturer.aero-precision-993
-
Nah, you don't need to brother - I don't care about that. I care about that Hornady hat, though... 6 Creed is gonna be a large-frame AR, brother - build the wifey a small-frame AR, and make it the ARC.
-
I have a sweet matched M4E1 set here, just sitting. No, wait - that belongs to @Matt.Cross. I can't sell it.
-
Hornady Match is available, but scarce right now. That's the 108 ELD-M projectile. Hornady Black is also available, in a 105gr HPBT loading. Again, scarce. Right now, I don't know of any others that are loading this as factory ammo. This is Hornady's baby, right here. https://ammoseek.com/ammo/6mm-arc https://www.milehighshooting.com/hornady-81608-6mm-arc-108-gr-eld-match-20-box/
