  1. How in the hell did a gator get in the waters in Minnesota?...
  2. I'll be picking up some of their MLS t-post packages in the near future. Need those for pistol stuff.
  3. For mil, just get the Athlon Talos BTR 4-14 illum mil-dot reticle scope. This one: https://athlonoptics.com/product/rifle-scopes-talos-btr-4-14x44-aplr-ffp-ir-mil/ For MOA, I'd recommend the one from Primary Arms, 4-14 with the MOA reticle. This one: https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-4-14x44mm-ffp-riflescope-arc-2-moa-reticle If you want/need more magnification over a 14x max, I have other recommendations, neither will break the bank.

    FUK CTD

That's just examples of the fuckin' they were trying to give people after Sandy Hook. As soon as Obuttfuck was on the news that Monday morning, saying how he was gonna ban ARs, CTD jacked all their prices. They SUCK. They've been on my "Go FUK YOURSELF!" List ever since.
  5. @billymagg, I drove the 16" Grendel out to 850 yards yesterday afternoon in a stiff wind (about 15mph) with this barrel right here: https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/16-inch-65-grendel-spr-mid-ss-premium-barrel.html It's worth waiting for, to come into stock. So is their 18" SPR-Profile Grendel barrel. Lights-Out stuff, right there.
  6. ^^^ These things actually worked pretty well! I'll take a shorter barrel over a longer barrel, all day long, within the purpose of the gun. I'd prefer if the longest barrel one could buy were an 18" barrel.
  7. Bolt won't lock back with the gas block wide open, even?... You stated it goes to 15. You stated you tried 5~13. Run the gas block wide open and see what happens. Setting 10 is not letting your rifle "cycle rounds perfectly" if it's not locking back on the last round.
  8. You raise a very valid point, my good man...
  9. Kel-Tec PLR16, with a rail that someone made fit... They ripped off the design from Olympic Arms, and the OA 93.

    FUK CTD

Yep, fuk them in the neck. Example: Hoe about a Colt LE6920 for $3895.00?... Fuk CTD, right in the neck.
  11. Made an HF shot from Florida back to Ft Lewis, WA, just pissing around during training. Routinely made HF shots from South Korea to Japan while on training deployments in Korea. HF isn't hard, but it's completely different to play with over other bands, AND your antenna needs to be exactly on-the-money for those longer shots.
  12. High capacity (21-rd) mags in a 9mm with night sights and a light on it, loaded with some type of personal-protection ammo, with spare mags, right there beside the bed. What ever pistol that's dependable, and that you shoot best - is the one for you. Next - AR15 in .223/5.56, with a light on it and a red dot, 45-degree safety and Geissele Super 3-Gun trigger. 30-rd mag loaded with my Barnes 70TSX load. 2 more mags right there. That should handle any made-up home defense scenario, in my house. After the first mag of anything, if there's more of them, the keys to open the safe are right there. Every imaginable problem-solver is right on the other side of that door, loaded.
  13. That was designed as a lever gun projectile, but glad to here it works in this platform.
  14. You want a mil reticle or an MOA reticle - I have two great recommendations for you, pending your preference.
  15. Welcome aboard, Aaron!!! I hope you can make it out this weekend, brother - you'll love it! Give me a call whenever you need to - shoot a text first, I'll answer back.
  16. The whole time I was in, I had an allotment going to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
  17. So, initially tumbled, but never cleaned after lubing them? You lube them to resize/deprime them, and you go straight to priming a lubed case?
  18. That's the truth.
  19. The Ruger, hands down. Ruger makes a FINE bolt action rifle, and the Ruger American line is very good. If you're pulling one for $299 right now, that's a screamin' deal. The trigger is great, and easily adjusted, it's a 3-lug bolt, and it's already pillar-bedded into the stock. Already has a Pic Rail in the top, too. Don't pass that up, if you're nailing it for that price.
  20. @Armed Eye Doc , that was so good, that you had to quote yourself there...
  21. Damn, it must be a Monday after a full-moon weekend... The crowd is TOUGH tonight!...
  22. Where did you buy this Aero Precision lower parts kit from? That pivot pin is not right. All Aero Precision - hell, ALL manufacturers - flatten the back side of the pivot pin. This one is round all the way around. Not a known pivot pin, from any manufacturer, that I've ever seen, and certainly not how Aero Precision makes their pivot pins. I once tried to mount a PSA upper on an Aero lower, and there was no way in hell it was going to lock both pins. Something was wrong. I tried that same PSA upper to a Matrix lower - No Go. There's something to be said here for using PSA parts when building a .308AR. You either go all-the-way-PSA, or don't. When you DO go with full PSA, prepare to do some work to the gun. You've complicated this process simply with the choice of the lower receiver, I kid you not. You compounded the problem using a Moriarti upper assembly. Not joking here. @edgecrusher's recommendation for a matched - or at leastfrom the same company - known receiver sets is the way to go, without further headaches, alot of cussin, alot of wasted ammo, and holes in the garage walls - because this combination is gonna make you throw expensive tools...
  23. ^^^ See what I'm talking about?... Truth in that.
  24. This the one?
