  1. Brace yourselves...
  2. No shiit. Greg would have to back himself down from a dozen eggs for breakfast, to only 3... Fucking Savage, I'm telling you...
  3. Here's the loadout on it, Aguila MiniShells. Slug Slug Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck... Holds 9 of them in the Slug and Buck variety. If it was the Bird shells, you get another one in the tube... I told you guys this would go down...
  4. It would come out looking like fucking folded Origami, too...
  5. That jackass would say it's too heavy, and that he could get it sub-4lbs...
  6. That's what I was afraid of...
  7. Oh HELL NO that just didn't happen...
  8. Here's the loadout: Slug Slug Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck... Mossberg Nightstick.
  9. Merle 308 contacted me today about a spec that I can't get right now. Anybody have the diameter of a stripped 308 upper, at the threads? Not inside the threads, flat part of caliper on the threads... I need someone to measure this. I don't have any stripped 308 uppers right now, and it would suck to take a gun apart. I need this diameter:
  10. I want a weekday off work, sometime soon. I'll wait for the FedEx guy or whatever to make his rounds, and I'll stick a box out on my front porch... Then, I'll get some full gear on. Plate carrier, MAV, sling the 14.5 gun, and just wait inside... When they come up to snatch my empty box that I placed as bait, I'll just open the door and walk out there... I'll have the GoPro rigged for this, of course...
  11. You probably don't have to worry about the Porch Pirates...
  12. They developed the 6.8 SPC for SOF... in the first place...
  13. I can now confirm that the We The People IWB Glock 19 holster will fit the P80 compact frames. You can pick a bunch of colors or patterns - I picked the Constitution pattern for this one. https://wethepeopleholsters.com/collections/glock-iwb-kydex-holsters/products/glock-19-23-32-iwb-kydex-holster?variant=13512077344866
  14. Damn...
  15. It will work really well with 175gr projectiles. That twist is magic for those - it's actually 1:11.25" twist.
  16. Depends on the expected environment. IWB Appendix for the XDs45 3.3 in a We The People kydex holster, 4" 1911 in a Mernickle Holsters PS6 Hi-Ride holster, XD45 LEO gun (Full size XD with a thumb safety) in the Mernickle Holsters PS6 Hi-Ride, Glock in an Uncle Mikes Tactical OWB holster... Just received a new We The People IWB kydex holster today, for the Glock 19 series. Where I'm going and what I expect to see/encounter determines the gun that goes with me. The clothes I'm wearing determine how I need to dress to hide the gun that goes with me that day. It's all a variance that needs to be dealt with daily, or by activity. There's no "one perfect gun" for every occasion, and there's lots to consider for carrying that specific gun, that day, to/for that activity... P.S. There's always a rifle nearby, no matter where I am. I carry enough pistol ammo to get to the rifle.
  17. Since I started building Grendels, the Toolcraft BCGs are my go-to BCGs. For everything.
  18. Gas system and recoil system are completely independent of each other. One doesn't care about the other - as long as both are up to spec, and work.
  19. Gotta be. It's nothing in any 6.8 caliber that we know of, now. As soon as I saw SIG named in the list of contract entrants, I knew they already won...
  20. I'm still not believing the 6.8 hype that Milley referred to, not at all. There isn't a 6.8 out there that is so much faster than 5.56 rounds, currently. Nor do those 6.8 (.270 guns) FAR OUTDISTANCE the 5.56 rounds in inventory (Mk 262 Mod 1). Nor will any 6.8 defeat most body armor out there. Read the comments below that linked article... This might be some weird, caseless shiit that's super secret. I know there's a Tucson ammo manufacturer that got told "SILENCE!" after a specific round was developed... Very little info out there on that one.
  21. He's good people - I wish we had him around more. I think it's pretty cool that a barrel manufacturer is recommending us as a resource. That's damn cool. For Josh - you rock, man ...
  22. wtf? Where you gonna get either one of those, Mack?... I'm in, for trying to eat it, if you kill the thing first. I don't wanna fight either one of those bastards.
  23. HELL YES, MAN!!!
  24. Those types have been my best teachers - "If I don't listen to what he's saying right now, he's either gonna kill me, or I will die from it later... Fucking PAY ATTENTION!!!" No kidding. The risk of possible mortality really makes lessons stick in your memory. Army-wise, they call that "High-Risk Training." Where I worked, it was everyday shiit, literally. Fuk me, do a risk assessment, and everything was high risk. It gets mentally scary with you realize that the certain "high risk" event/s is/are boring, and you do it all the time... What is even worse than that, is taking your training, and trying to figure out more that you can add to it - and make it even "high-ER risk?!" It's pretty freaky to have that kind of mental outlook dawn on you, but it's even worse to come to the realization that you thrive on that stuff. It turns you into an adrenaline junkie, and you're looking for the next fix, or the next thing... and you never come back from that. That MUST be the reason now, for my Crazy Blonde Psychosis. I gotta have something around that's gonna kill me, at any moment, or it's just no fun... I had to fix that one for ya, Doc...
  25. HOLY SHIIIT, THAT KID HAS TALENT!!! That made me look this one back up... Kids with mad skills fuckin' ROCK...
