And that truly is the core, right there. With core strength, you can do anything. I'm still not going to run unless a bear is chasing me. Fuk it, shoot everything else. Well, let's add one to that - I'll run if I'm being chased by a CrazyAss Blonde.

The backblast will eat you alive!!! - that gun doesn't move very much, but that backblast curls around and attacks you!!!

This is up, in New York. Want to buy a gun? This gets into law, and you'll have to submit your social media history, to buy a gun... Gun purchasers may need to submit social media history under proposed New York legislation https://www.foxnews.com/us/gun-purchasers-may-need-to-submit-social-media-history-under-proposed-new-york-legislation Those looking to buy a gun in New York may need to submit their social media profiles and search history prior to purchase if new firearm legislation in the state becomes law. Under the legislation drafted by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and State Senator Kevin Parker, both Democrats, up to three years’ worth of search history on social media would be able to be reviewed, ABC Action News reported. Senate Bill 9191, according to WHAM, mandates "social media and search engine reviews prior to the approval of an application or renewal of a license to carry or possess a pistol or revolver; requires a person applying for a license to carry or possess a pistol or revolver or a renewal of such license to consent to having his or her social media accounts and search engine history reviewed and investigated for certain posts and/or searches over a period of 1-3 years prior to the approval of such application or renewal; defines terms." Under the proposed legislation, law enforcement officials could investigate "commonly known profane slurs used or biased language used to describe race, national origin, ancestry, gender, religion, disability or sexual orientation; threatening health or safety of another person, or an act of terrorism." "There should be more restrictions on how guns are purchased. We should have more background checks," Paul McQuillen, director of the Buffalo chapter of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, said. "We’ve obviously seen some of the mass shooters have a social media history that should have sent red flags," he said. The bill could be troublesome to push through as critics argue it violates multiple constitutional rights. The legislation is currently in committee and no vote is scheduled.

You have no idea how much I love those things! I got pretty good at cranking those wheels and putting it on target. "Spotter!!!"... "MAIN GUN!!!"

My Gun Pusher has one as a demo, and I've shot the shiit out of it - it's pretty damn good! I like it. Alot.

He pulled it off! Well, his girlfriend pulled it off - her first turkey, oven baked, and it was great! All the sides she did were excellent, too. I'm pretty proud of them! They kept all the deviled eggs, too...

Can't wait to get a first hand review of how that one is - I know it's gonna be another great scope.

It'll come together well, man - don't sweat that. Whatever gas system that barrel is, once it's in hand, we can figure it out fast.

Tech Sights. I lucked into a 1973 in an estate sale. All metal and wood, no plastic. Removed the original barrel and installed a modern take-off barrel on it, added Tech Sights, and every part that Power Custom (Grandmasters, LLC) makes for the action. That's my Appleseed trainer rifle, right there, and it's sweet. Convert the bolt release to an auto bolt release - that should be mandatory on all 10/22s. You can do it at home, with a dremel or a file. Just remove that nub, and take it flat across there - after that, you add a slight curve, or radius to it, and it's done. All the Power Custom stuff for 10/22s: http://powercustom.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4&sort=20a&filter_id=10&alpha_filter_id=0 These two kits right here are what I buy when I'm doing one of these little beasties - makes for one hell of an action upgrade: http://powercustom.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=82 http://powercustom.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=80 Tech Sights: https://www.tech-sights.com/ruger-products/

Holy Shiit!!!
-
NO! Stay away from that shiit. Read up on the company, before you get sucked on on the prices. The only deal in seconds, from other manufacturers. What's your second gonna be - cosmetic, or mechanical? Avoid that shiit. You'd be better off buying some Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorne garbage.

^^^ He nailed it.

I'm fuckin' CRYIN' over here!...

Oh shiit, when I saw dpete in this thread, I knew I was in trouble... That 300 WSM, you can keep - Mikey has one of those things, and it's a fucking beast. The 450 Marlin has my interest...

Well, check out that PSA barrel you have, and it will give you the insight that you need on this. Notice the gas tube protrusion into the upper receiver, and where it stops. What really matters, though, is how that new barrel maker drills their gasport. What gas system are they running on? It's either DPMS-based, which is AR15 gas tube lengths, or it's Armalite AR-10 gas tube lengths. Or, it's some weird hybrid shiit in between both of those lengths. BSF is the only ones that can answer this question for you - call them. I can tell you right now, PSA uses that fucked up hybrid gas length, and it sucks to deal with. Many other manufacturers are on that bandwagon now, too.

Can't comment too much on this one, without going off. This happened in Chit-cago, 4 died, and that's sad, and it sucks that an Officer got sucked into that shiitstorm. 4 dead in Chit-cago is hardly a "rampage" though, like the media is making this out to be. That city creates SO MANY MORE DEAD BODIES in one shooting, on a Friday night, than that. Sorry for the comments, don't wanna derail this thread.

Exactly hat it was,and what they're trying to exercise, with that law. Baby steps, baby steps... "Let them get used to this, then we do..." That's damn sure what it is, and it's not right, not constitutional, and only legal because they either passed in into law at midnight (a'la New York) or by bullshiit propaganda that let the sheeple vote on it...
