These won't be sold less than what they go for in a .mil contract, and alot of people lose sight of that - they CAN'T be sold less. THIS BEAST, right here... DAMN, what a sweet shooting pistol!!! This was an original, too. I can't even begin to state how easy it was to shoot, and how recoil you DON'T feel, as the shooter. Gawd Dayum. You could shoot this thing all day, and not cry about anything hurting. Unreal. Doc also brought out a 300 Win Mag that was completely badass - Vortex Razor HD glass, custom barrel, detachable mag conversion. That rifle couldn't miss at the 600-something target we had out there. That is one OUTSTANDING rifle...

Matt is the first of the remaining savages to depart - I take him to the airport in about 30 minutes. Ron and Kate will depart later tonight (driving at night), Rob and Greg take off at about 9am for the airport, in Rob's rental F150... There is a SERIOUS STORY about this damn F150 coming up... Neil is the last one left at that point, and will probably be the last departure. Dirk headed straight back towards home as we were driving out of camp this afternoon. Overall, it was one hell of a great Shoot, easily the best one yet. There will be lots of commentary, I'm certain... Right now, I'm on the verge of a Food Coma, but need to leave for the airport...

If you're ripping into the rims, it's one of two things (could be a third thing). 1. Sharp teeth on the edges of the extractor, just like that video I linked above shows. File them down. 2. Overgassed. Can't make a smaller gas port in the barrel, but you can add an adjustable gas block, as JT stated above. (Possible) 3. Under-recoiled, from a bad recoil system, that's too light. Make the buffer heavier, make the recoil spring stronger. Use a matched recoil system with KNOWN-GREAT components. Never "trust" a manufacturer in what they say for recoil parts, unless they're a proven, solid, known recoil system manufacturer. ^^^ The "aftermarket" routinely fuks up #3... Routinely.

That MagPul wrench is the SHEIIIT! I don't know if it works on 308 barrel nuts or not, but that kinda doesn't matter anymore, when most rails show up with their own proprietary wrench - or you have to buy that proprietary wrench anyway...
