If you look at my pic close - you can see I stacked washers under the bolt. My spare bolt was too long - but THAT spare bolt was the one that was going in there, gawd daymit... A little Birchwood Casey flat black paint pen hooked it all up, when it was tight, and that handguard cap wasn't moving...

In hindsight, now - I TOTALLY fucked up an Armalite clamp-on A2 front sight base to do this - that you can't get anymore... Had I KNOWN that they'd stop making it, I might have done something different. Fuk it, it's drilled and tapped now... and won't ever come off this gun...

I did that tap-for-the-handguard-cap on my 45AR. It was a blowback anyway, and I didn't want that handguard cap moving. Good move, brother - great minds think alike.

Beware if you're shopping the Geissele triggers used, or from an unknown retailer. All Geissele triggers have a "G" on the top backside of the trigger bow. The Geissele Hi-Speed triggers have a "GA" on the trigger bow... none of the other Geissele triggers have that "GA" on there. That's "Geissele Automatics" and it's only on the Hi-Speed triggers (National Match, DMR, and Service Rifle triggers).
